Have you watched a single raptors game before 2021?

Our offense died when Chris Finch was poached by the Wolves.

When you think about how NBA offences have changed over the past 3 years, Nurse has been a huge part of it.
Getting defensive stops and quickly transitioning back down the court for easy baskets was a signature part of Nurse’s Raptors offence before other teams caught on and started imitating it. Almost every team in the league does it now.
Last year he emphasized crashing the offensive glass with multiple players and getting easy buckets which also caught on with other teams in the league.
The question of whether it was the best offence is debatable but almost every night, he did give his players the best chance to win by giving them the advantage in FGA over their opponents. With a good shooting team, that should’ve resulted in a lot more wins than they had to show for last year. They won the FGA battle in 70 of 82 games last year with around 3 being dead even.
Lastly, the credit might better be given to Nate Bjorkgren but a lot of the drawn up plays for the final shot of the game were excellent with players getting wide open shots and failing to make them. This is something we never had before Nurse took over as head coach.

ISO ball on every possession was not the way last season.

His offence is generally fine except for one season, but this is a “what have they done now” league

Nurse is a great coach but we really didn’t have the personnel to succeed. We generated good open looks at the top quartile in the league but we had no shooters; (Gtj was too streaky and fvv had a down year). Raptors needs shooters, simple as that

Darko will have 20% next year.
No 🙂
OP definitely didn’t watch basketball before Nurse was here.
The GM is Morey
You mean our constant iso ball? Wtf u talkin about
We were 7th in the NBA in open shots created/attempted last season, and dead last in eFG% on those shots. Nurse can’t make the players make the shots.
