It was a surprise night for the Utah Jazz who saw their starting unit of Collin Sexton and Talen Horton-Tucker start against Kawhi Leonard and Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers looked solid and will be good this year if they stay healthy. For the Utah Jazz we got our first look at John Collins in the starting lineup and it was a mixed bag. We also got to see Keyonte George and he showed the flashes that has everyone excited but certainly needs some time to get some confidence and build on what has been an exciting start to his career so far.

  1. Guys, I accidentally unplugged everything when I scooted up in my chair. Gahhh! Anyways, shout out to the all-stars!!!!

  2. Keyonte George looked like he was trying to not make a mistake which hindered his game. Once he gets comfortable he will tear up defenses. If things click for him he will be roy

  3. Season starting 5 really should be: Kessler, Collins, Markks, Clarkson, DUNN. Rotate the young guys, Sexton included, on the second unit and let them battle it out and develop.

  4. Really wish jazz fans had more patience with Hendricks, he's gotta put on around 20lbs but he's going to be an absolute must have on the roster

  5. I think there's a reality where Simone doesn't make the team and I think Luka Samanic is the most overlooked player on the roster

  6. The best jazz postgame and it’s not even close! No Alema! No Boller! No Holly! No Locheim!

Just a good dude that loves the jazz.

  7. feels like a great group, yet 1 star away from competing for a title, still very excited for the season 🙂

  8. Damn, I now know what to get from this post game sets. KEYONTE simping after every game :D. I do think long term Keyonte will be good, but I just don't fully see it yet that he will be this season a starter and I am advocating Dunn to be starter over Keyonte this season.

  9. I knew that SC and THT would start. It's the $ and maintaining confidence of veteran players. Both players have skills and potential, and the Jazz need to see whether they can produce consistently. The other guys have no mental stake in starting or not. NBA coaching is 50% psychology.

  10. Jazz Nerd, I love your show but don't let your bias get away from you. Keyonte George is great… I like him a lot and he will be great! But why have Kris as 6th man?!
Did you see KRIS DUNN!? Less minutes and out did Keynote in every stat tonight! He Shot 100% tonight and his defense is great!

Kris Dunn Deserves the starting position at Point Guard!

  11. As good at keynote can be, last night he was awful. Trying to prove himself too much and making dumb mistakes.

  12. This team just needs some time to gel. Kwai and P George are tough vets but they’ll be tired or injured after 40 games. We need to make one more deal this year for point guard. This is going to a great team long term

  13. Please make your screen big and yourself small like you did last time so we can see the stats. It’s not even worth putting up the stats when your head is blocking the data. In fact, it’s rather annoying.

  14. Thanks for your unrealistic expectations for our man Keynote.

You’re always so ridiculous that I have to listen to it repeatedly because it makes me feel so good inside.

You’re the man Nerd. I love you.

  15. Taylor Hendricks did not play in summer league, so lets cut him a little slack for his first game.

  16. Kelly in the staring line up is key. Collins is not a passer. Kelly will make sure Lauri and Walker get good shots. Defensive rebound is more important for this team then offensive rebounding. Because of the size they will have a high shooting percentage on O. On D its going to be how they run the break, Passing is key. We will see.

  17. Keyonte reminded me of watching Dante Exum. Lost in the headlights. Don’t know how you think this kid can start. THT and Dunn are better options.

  18. Keyonte is very promising talent but i think it's a bit too much to say that he's Jazz best offensive player already🤔😊. LOVE can make us all blind sometimes🙈❤.
