If people were to look at the facts and not their hopes and wishes with Barnes, maybe I would not knock him down as I often do, as I hope for his success as well. Last night the Raptor starters played a few extra minutes. In Barnes time he scored a decent 15 points on 5 for 9 shooting. He had 7 rebounds but all defensive and rebounds would be easier with more misses and less battles under the basket. 5 for 9 is decent but where did he make those shots from, and if he missed just 1 he would have been 44.4% basically the same as last year. He was 0 for 2 from 3. Last year he shot 28% from 3. 5 for 7 at the line 71.4% as opposed to 77% last year, he had 4 assists but 3 turnovers. It is his first game but Raptor groupies if that is his stats this year, he will be on the bench, especially when what they need is far better shooting and Gary Trent provides this and should be starting anyway.
They held them scoreless without Precious, Koloko and Porter Jr. Arguably Precious is the best mobile defender on the team. I rank him higher than OG. Let's think about that for a minute. Looking forward to the boys improving on this game. I see lots of potential.
we are best a 7/8/9 team so what are you talking about .. we need to trade Pascal and OG .. they will be to expensive to keep.. get some good young talent and picks.. and we might still be a 8/9 team.. the east is stacked ..who we really beating in the east .. come on man be real
Move the rock, play the bench, get rid of a pt guard that tries to only get his own instead of facilitating, get rid of a coach that has checked out and only plays a 7 player rotation. plus 7 wins easily
