Wide open/corner threes, role players who can actually knock down those threes, rim pressure and drawing contact to get to the line… I agree with Brendon, it’s a “breath of fresh air.” Midrange shot creation is a huge benefit in the playoffs because defenses can take away to paint or the perimeter, but the midrange will always be there. But the Suns cannot live and die in the midrange like they did last season, and they won’t moving forward.
With that being said, I also worry about the Suns smaller size and how that can play out vs big, athletic physical teams, like a healthy Clippers team or the Celtics…
