It’s a shame that Schroeder winning mvp at the FIBA world finals is used as a joke amongst nba “insiders”.
I’m intrigued by Dennis as I do not imagine co-existing with Le Le an easy task. I don’t begrudge him the win as he was the primary spark plug on the winning team. It isn’t a knock on any other players as it usually goes to a player on the winning team.
I recall the World Series mvp is often a player on a heater. Pat Borders I believe won it. Paul Molitor I think. Hideki Matsui for the Yankees.
It’s a tournament format. Someone wins.
The elitism of nba players propagating this bs is cloying and annoying and I hope evolves over time.

I watched this video and I thought he really missed his opportunity to talk about the 0.5 offense. He talked about the passing and the movement, but didn’t add the element of quick decision-making that keeps the system moving.

This guy REALLY likes Malachi…I won’t go as far as he did lol but I don’t think he was as bad as everyone was saying.
PnR was his strength coming out of college, so with some more time in Darkos offense + his added size + hopefully decent shooting (.353 from downtown last year), I think he can be a serviceable end of rotation player / backup backup point guard.
