    Nobody lost more of his talent and athleticism through severe injuries but still came back than Derrick Rose. He was once literally one of the top 4 or 5 athletes ever to play the game of basketball in his prime. If anyone had allowances to be a knucklehead and prima donna, it was early 2010s prime Derrick Rose. After suffering game-changing and life-changing injuries, he came back and became a solid, if unspectacular pro, a consistent contributor and consummate professional. Ja Morant has similar, scary levels of athleticism and talent at his best. However, he's an even BIGGER bonehead than Rose EVER was and is poised to throw away his career over it. Rose can't do anything but be a positive example. The rest is up to Ja.

    As a Knicks fan, D rose is the definition of a Hall of Famer. Yeah his injuries done him wrong, but damn he's good both as a player, but better as a team player. D rose is dope….. Memphis and Ja should really milk his brain on just being that NBA star!!!!

    Seeing Derrick Rose as a starter with more time on the court will be great. He changed his playing style to save his body damaged by so many injuries, but technically he is at a very high level, even better than many younger players in the league today. Derick deserved a better team and so he deserves to end his career with a title.

Guy has most definitely earned spot on the Memphis Grizzlies and go for Championship, finally they got what they need as a VET to lead them in right direction. Happy for DR, hope he gets a ring before he retires.
