I’m also excited for NSJ, let the kid cook in Greensboro! The way he moves up the court, he either looks completely unhinged or unstoppable. I watched the Clippers game after this and watching Russell Westbrook play made me wonder if NSJ might hoop like Russ someday if he can tighten it up, do y’all think that’s accurate? Love his tenacity, he had such a shit second quarter, and then came out in the second half clearly looking for redemption and kept himself a bit more under control.
Hope PJ is able to amp it up, would love to see him rally the B Team like he did at the end of last season!

Ntilinka may be an elite defender but he is a huge negative on offense and setting others up. He shot every time he got the ball and didn't hit even one. Sumner was not much better even though I expected more from him. RJ Hunter is a g league player at best. Take these three out of the game and it's a W. Better off letting Nick Smith develop with the big team and drop these three. Need a third center assuming Kai Jones does not return. A good option would be former Heat backup center Omar Yertseven.

Brandon Millers handles look much tighter now. Must've really worked on it this off season. And he looked really athletic.
Overall I liked how their defensive game is coming together. But they need to be more aggressive with rebounding.

-LaMelo at 75% played a good all around game. A lotta Improvements defensively
-terry was food on defense
-Brandon Miller looks muchhh more polished than in summer league
-Hayward looked great
-PJ hella rusty
Mark was blocking everything on defense. Wanna see him slow down offensively
-JT Thor looks more comfortable but his defense in 4th was atrocious
-nick smith was our most composed guard off the bench last night
-Nick Richards looked rough early on but played big in 4th
-Keep frank nit and RJ Hunter far away from this team
LaMelo was complaining about fouls too much. It was comical at times, the way he talks to the refs.
There was a fast break lob that Melo threw to Gordon that had me worried. It looked similar to the lob that broke Gordon’s foot years ago. You can tell Gordon had a little flashback afterwards, he looked a little shaken up

LaMelo's finishing at the rim looked better last night too. That combined with Mark Williams being a monster on the offensive boards, we're gonna be explosive! Damn, I do love me some Mark Williams!

Theo Maledon would’ve been a large upgrade at the backup point guard spot then last nights game
Gordon deserves some credit, I used to hate on the guy too, but he was ready last night, he was super efficient, and honestly had a pretty solid showing… if the guy stays healthy, we’re actually pretty lucky he’s on the team (even though he’s obviously over paid)
I got Brandon Jordan Miller for ROTY 🏆 because in Alabama he was SEC ROY & POY in mindset like a true wing!!!!
If you swapped what picks kai and thor were taken with on that draft after the results of the last 24hrs you'd be pretty happy with where you stood right now. JT is the saving grace from that draft and our picks before and after it give creedance to the fact Mitch knows what he's doing at draft time
