The Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers both looked fatigued and out of sorts last night in Seattle for their 2nd pre-season game of the year. The offenses on both sides of the ball really struggled and turnovers and field goals were coming at an equal rate.
Within the fatigue their were some things to look at for the Utah Jazz. The defense is way ahead of the offense. Will Hardy revealed a new concept to what the Utah Jazz want to achieve defensively, touch the ball.
The rotations were similar in night two with a few variations on one lineup was very succesful for the Utah Jazz.

THT needs to start. In a two game sample size he looks way better than Collin Sexton. Still early but THT looks like he’s ready to take another big step this season.

Would have loved to see a change to the starting guard lineup, but I guess a two game sample size is better than one which us what i was hearing might happen. Hopefully that lineup changes just so we can dee what other matchups look like
Jazz have not played 5 good minutes of bball in first half of first 2 games. PG position is a disaster and there is no one to get Markkenon easier shots. Trade Sexton with THT and Lakers first for a PG like Ben Simmons, Herro, or Brogdon.
I am “pro” both THT & Dunn!! I really like both of them.
We look like a G-league team. And I’m sorry, KJZZ camera people don’t know what they’re doing. I get dizzy watching. Plus it’s like 480i clarity. It’s garbage. And if you think the jazz on TV is worth $150 per season to stream you’re out of your mind. I struggled watching for free the last 15 years.
All i know is tht was about | | this close to breaking through a clippers front that is seasoned and extremely tough to get through. Once he can control the ball through that piledrive hes going to be able to go god mode on good to elite defenders. And that is what a star-superstar player can do. Outside of lauri tht is the only guy who can impose his will on an "elite" defender and i hope the jazz value that trait more than the common comment section. And unlike guys like clarkson and sexton who can somewhat but differently impose a will of sorts tht is a good and only getting better defender. On top of all of that hes the only one out of him clarkson and sexton that can follow a full train of thought. (Based on limited interviews ive watched of them all)
