Bucks or Celtics? Who you got?
What was KP supposed to do in the playoffs when Carlisle told him to just camp the corner, defy his coach to put up better stats? It also should be noted the "Celtics Killer" isn't exactly healthy right now. He might turn out to be OK, but knee injuries in the NBA for players north of 30 are no joke.
Celtics have the personnel edge, I think. They're very deep.
But the Bucks are dangerous.
My opinion: let 'em play, and may the best team win.
Assuming they can get that matchup in the playoffs. They might not.
Stuff can happen. Another conference team could get hot. Injuries could happen. If we could know outcomes in advance, we wouldn't have a reason to watch the games, now would we?
Championships are not decided before the season starts. Often enough, there are surprises.

The healthier team will win. Both sides have injury prone players like Middleton & KP (although he played 60+ games last year). Also Jrue and Dame are older by around 5 years now since the Pelicans-Blazers series, who knows how that matchup will play out.
IMO, Dame time is not the 2nd best PG after Curry in today's NBA

Agent Zero got this one. Tatum and Brown are not disciplined and the whole team ends up not being disciplined because when these Jay Boys are on the same floor together, it's like a race to see who is going to be good in iso situations, so they try to steal the spotlight from each other.
The Celtics have the best top 6 in all of basketball right now so I’m going with them.

Middleton is hardly a celtics-killer. A game winner and a few good games doesn't mean he consistently beats them, and in fact last year the bucks had one of their worst losses is franchise history against the Celtics, with Middleton on the floor. That combined with his injury history doesn't give me much confidence. To the point of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Arenas shouldn't be talking being one of the least disciplined players ever. Plus, the Cs have made it to the finals and have consistently gotten to the ecf, apart from their finals year the Bucks can't stay the same and Dame has heavily faltered as the playoffs go on. Not saying I'd take the Celtics 100%, but half the info here is entirely nitpicked to make an argument around the bucks winning.

Although ESPN might have Boston as the favorites. I think the bucks will pull through mainly bcz Boston doesn't have an answer for Giannis. They have some players to throw at Lillard like jrue, Tatum and brown. But Giannis is going to get his no matter who's guarding him.
I think the Bucks need to improve their wing depth. Also, it depends if the Celtics can play Lopez off the court. When the Celtics make Brook ineffective, then the Jays go off, but if he stays in and protects the rim, then it comes to the Jay's decision-making.

Its about health. But Tatum and brown has fried milwakees defense last few years and the bucks per D just got worse. Brook lopez gets played off the floor with horford now with porzingis its only gonna be harder. Dame and giannis will be amazing and tough. But the bucks defense will have issues. I think the Celtics have more answers to stop the bucks weapons than the bucks do to stop bostons weapons.

Lillard in the series , was the only top player, holiday had AD, lillard has Giannis now , If holiday goes on lillard now Giannis is going to be the primary ball handler and lillard will go off ball , Giannis is going to cook the brown and Tatum they can’t defend him, the Celtics have traded the two guys who tried and their best to stop Giannis in the paint 2 seasons ago in the playoffs while Giannis was still dropping points , Holiday was dropping bricks 🧱 after bricks 🧱 in that series and it still went 7 games. If I exchange holiday for lillard in that series even without Middleton,Milwaukee would advance, Good the Celtics improved on the perimeter defense by acquiring Holiday, but their post defense has taken a massive hit, KP is not enough to defend Giannis ,brook Lopez,Bobby Portis in the post, from the preseason AJ junior the rookie for the Bucks is a damn good perimeter defender and he’s big enough to guard wings, Payne and Tyty are good defensive point guards too. It’s going to be a fun series

People overlook some important shit with Celtics. 1, they beat the bucks last time they met in play offs and all Bucks have new is Dame who gets invalidated by Jrue.
2, Derrick White genuinely is one of the best defensive players in the league and will probably end up on Middleton if he's performing extremely well. Just like he ended up on Butler in the Miami series. This will absolutely ruin Middleton's efficiency. Their entire starting 5 and 6th man bring bucks out of the paint where they lack Perimeter D. That leads to either 3s or easy paint scoring opportunities. Bucks don't have depth while Celtics have some potential stand out Sharp shooters in Payton Pritchard, Svi, and Sam Hauser that will be able to rotate in and keep pressure on the perimeter. Also Al Horford and Porzingis together definitely will be able to slow down Giannis, as Al is a proven good match up and Porzingis is one of the most underrated centers when it comes to Paint defense. Also just saying Tatum and Brown can't hold up in a series when they literally beat the Bucks last time they played one is a mega cop out to excuse their skill. I don't know if the Celtics would win but there's a much better argument for them than the one you gave.
