I watched every Scottie Barnes possession to see if he’s a point guard

  1. Good work and I appreciate the time put in to make a proper evaluation. The most important point was at the end. Barnes needs time at point to develop ie. Make mistakes and learn then adjust. He is tremendously talented. But talent without work means nothing. With Schroeder on the team its a bit of a hedge and perhaps he will be able to share more with Barnes in away if Im politically correct better received than last year. Its my opinion Barnes is the point gaurd of the future once he puts it all together. And if he isnt he will still be a tremendous forward to be dealt with.

  2. I hope there would be some O.G. and Scottie 2 man moves this season. O.G. is the only wing player that can shoot the 3. So they need to try it out this season.

  3. My dad and I believe the best we've seen the raptors was the when they had the bench mob. That pre season game was filled with very unselfish plays cant wait to see whats the playstyle we ll have and great vid!

  4. Samson … I asked before but how do you search older articles. I don't see a search and videos and written work is intermixed. I am a subscriber. You said you did a similar article for pascal but I cannot find it . Thanks

  5. really great work, i enjoy reading the articles but the video format just makes it so much easier to internalize what is being said imo

  6. I realize this will anger a lot of people but this video was a little ridiculous. Barnes is not a PG or wing player. Did you notice every finish in that video was at the net. There were no midrange or long range shots. Barnes shot 45.6%, below average and a terrible 28% from 3 last year. 77% freethrow shooting does not help. There is way more to playing PG than the pick and roll. If you shoot 28% from 3 the other team will simply collapse the middle to take away the driving and passing lanes to dare you to shoot 3's. Also he only had 4.8 assists but 2 turnovers per game. Hardly one of the best passers in the world. BTW Anunoby shot 39% from 3 and Trent 37% form 3 last year. In my opinion Barnes has proved nothing yet and should start at 6th man. Poetl is a better C than Barnes, Siakam a way netter PF, Anunoby a better SF, Trent a better SHOOTING GUARD, and Shroder a better PG. At this point of his career Barnes is just a weaker version of Ben Simmons except he has fewer assists, fewer rebounds and even lower shooting percentages believe it or not. I hope he makes it but come on he is nowhere close to what you people think he is.

  7. Great stuff Samson. The insights you offer makes all of us better at understanding this team.
