The NEW and IMPROVED Toronto Raptors, with the addition of Dennis Schroder and Gradey Dick, the Toronto Raptors didnt look like much of an improved team. However with their new head coach the Toronto Raptors are gaining more of their offense through their center and also have much more improved passing. This Toronto Raptors team looks solid.

They finally look like a team. I know it's just one preseason game but you've got to love seeing actual ball movement and unselfish play unlike last year which was just painful to watch with FVV or Pascal constantly going iso. Definitely agree with your point on a number one option on offense. It should be pascal, as he's definitely showed the most scoring ability amongst the roster, but is he really number one material? Guess time will tell
I love how their passing the ball but other contending teams made a big trade acquiring superstar players although our passing is looking nice raptors still need a superstar #1 options To accomplish pascal. But lets see how this season turns out without the selfishness I mean after all it’s easier to guard 1 man than 5 so 😜

The number 1 option is obvious. Their best player is Siakam who with a better pass first PG and a better coach you will see a rejuvinated Siakam. I would like to see Anunoby develop into a consistent offensive player and be number 2. Trent could become that guy as well. I am sorry Scottie Barnes groupies he is not there yet. He shot 45.6 from the field, 28% from 3 and 77% from the line. He needs to improve on these numbers this year to even get into the conversation.

I can't dismiss the thought that Pascal, Anunoby, and Barnes in the same starting lineup just don't fit well (except for small lineups). For better team chemistry, it is probably better for Barnes to come off the bench as a super-sub and insert Trent Jr. into the starting unit.
