The Chicago Bulls defeat the Denver Nuggets, 133-124, in double overtime. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 19 points as Zach LaVine (17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals) and Alex Caruso (14 points, 4 3PT FG, 4 rebounds) combined for 31 points. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while Julian Strawther (16 points) and Collin Gillespie (13 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds) totaled 29 points. Both teams move to 1-1 on the preseason.

    My top 5 favorite players are Emo Butler, KD, Demar, CP3, and KaWheelChair because of their midrange game. It's just so beautiful to look at, poetry in motion and very versatile. Skill sets like this can lock close up games indeed…

    Dalen Terry is only half the player of Denzel valentine. If valentine is only a G league player, DT should play for the Shanghai Shark

    The Bulls look really good, but they played a lot against bench players and their success depends on them staying healthy because everyone plays a role on the squad so anyone missing means someone has to adjust their role and the whole things starts getting shaky. But they should be able to stay in the game with most teams and could be a playoff team that could win a series. Just depends on their health and the draw.

    I know it's pre-season – and I don't care about results – and I want to be positive. I'm watching to FIND good signs, something encouraging.
    Nuggets roster is not helping me at all.

    Strawther is the only one worth a pick. A late pick.
    The rest – OMG – just terrible.

    Pickett!? Who scouted that guy!? Who decided to draft him!?!?
    Pickett is obviously not even a g-league player – a pickup game hustler at best. WHO WASTED A PICK ON HIM!? Should I talk about his terrible handle, zero vision, slow fat-ass, and zero PG skills… and the ZERO rest!? Should I!? !? HOW did he end up on the roster!? !? HOW!?

    PWat… IDK – I see ZERO talent for the game in him. ZERO. NO GAME. Yep, he can maybe jump, he's maybe "long" and can defend 2nd string sub-talent… "Athletic" sure… BUT – he's not a basketball player. Not at all.

    Hunter Tyson… I was hopeful. I was. I thought – tall, decent wingspan, fast release, mature, slow feet that can become a bit quicker – so "usable". Well… he's not it. He's simply LOST out there. The game is too fast for him (even playing against CHI 3rd string) and he has no clue what to do. Get him an internship somewhere and open up a spot.

    Another WASTED pick.

    What were we hoping for? To have some players to replace Green and Brown. We'd be ok even with 70%. We were hoping.
    And Green is a washed out vet that can play 4 minutes and brown is only usable in a well organized setup and not a star on his own.
    But NO. We got PWat, Pickett, Tyson, and few others whose names I don't know and don't care to learn.
    Yeah.

    What's shaping up is the realization that Nuggets simply DO NOT HAVE 8 players that are worth playing in the NBA.
    Nuggets have 7.5 players.

    I hope Nuggets do something mid-season – since with this roster they have zero chance to go deep in the POs.

    So discouraging.

    With this "roster" I can only expect that Jokic/Murray… 1st string will play 36+ mins and all games – just to make it to POs.

    I know it's pre-season – and I don't care about results – and I want to be positive.
    Nuggets roster is not helping me at all.

    Nuggets need to make a move mid-season.

    Bulls are good team even last year same line up vucevic,lavine,DeRozan,white,Caruso did not know what happens to them came playoff time
