If possible, you rerout Morris to a team for another expiring and a couple 2nds, then waive that player.
Something I should mention, though, is I have been told that something is or was cooking with HOU and Malcom. Apparently, there are dates in which different portions of KPJ’s salary become guaranteed and then can be counted as returning salary in a trade. We either need or needed his contract to have enough guaranteed $$$ for a deal to be legal.
Again, I have no idea if talks are active, but supposedly, they had been at one point.
