Feels like the team is mentally done with the pre-season. Thankfully, there is only 1 game left.

  2. thatcuntcat

Scottie is a DOG on defense despite the poor shooting night

  3. We gotta stop being salty about teams playing their rotation guys against our G leaguers. Lots of positives to take from preseason. The 24th cant come fast enough.

Lakers rookies are lucky to be given this much play time. Other teams dont even play some of their rooks.

Horrid refs first half in particular. Too many offensive boards given up. Other than that, mostly liked what I saw from our guys. Don’t really count the second half as much, especially the entire 4th with our full g-league squad.

It’s clear, Bucks want to win this game no matter what since it’s the first time Giannis and Dame play. Would be bad for them if they lost.

AD with a very casual 16/7/5/2/2 in 19 minutes.

    Its so easy for him

  8. nottherealstanlee

AD and Dlo are fully ready for the season. Me too lol

Hayes 7/4/6 with 3 blocks line. What a bounceback. Wood fits best against small teams, but Hayes’ bounce and activity makes him really useful against a bigger team like Milwaukee.

Preseason is almost over so no more g league guys finishing games for us

Could care less about a loss. Meaningless.

I didn’t see anyone fighting for minutes stand out. Makes cuts more difficult.

I think it is bizarre the last two teams have finished with rotation guys. It’s not salt. It’s just weird. It’s really that big of a deal for them? Ok then!

I am excited about the young guys and think 3-4 of them will contribute in two years.

What is wrong with NBA officiating? It gets worse every year. Very frustrating.

Even if wood doesn’t look good individually, good things happen when we play him with AD in those big line ups

Jaxon Hayes is growing to be my 2nd favorite Laker behind LBJ

Christie hasn’t pushed Reddish out yet. Christie makes a lot of mistakes himself; they just aren’t as loud.

  15. Reddish showed a pulse and had some nice sequences. Max is still struggling a bit in preseason, so might be room for Reddish to squeeze into the lineup if Max stays a little discombobulated against real rotations instead of summer league ones. Pulling for both guys.

Lakers hung in with the Bucks while missing Leborn, Reaves, and Vando; that is a great sign, even if it was fairly obvious that Lillard was throttling a bit. Feeling pretty good about our depth going into the season; fingers crossed the Lakers stay as effective from 3 during the regular season and playoffs as they have been during most of the preseason.

I hope 3&DLo is not just a preseason thing.

  17. Lakers with Prince at the 2 were huge and effective. AD continues to look amazing, but can’t get a call for the and-1. D’lo had another nice run. I also was happy to see Reddish play more of a role, he was much better tonight. I like the continued chemistry devleoping between Hayes and Christie. I think they’ll do good work together on the second unit this year.

I don’t want to give Wood too much shit. He was left on an island at times to deal with Giannis and that went about as well as you’d expect. But Wood complains constantly, at both ends of the floor. In my opinion it sapped energy from the team and made the game much less fun to watch.
