  1. Spurs will be a 6th seed at the lowest this season. I am not fully understanding why so many think they won't even make the playoffs after not playing a bunch of guys for a bunch of games last year during a tank. Even without Wemby, they would most likely have been an 8th or 9th seed, but with him? C'mon.

  2. Seeing a guy that size handle the ball is impressive but I would put a guard on him who could press him and not let him put the ball on the floor. You might as well put a quick smaller player on him since whoever you put on him will still be giving up 5-6 inches.

  3. NBA players said he would be nothing that matters. That’s why fans and gms and coaches never listen to players.

  4. My only issue is lack of rebounds and turnovers , 20 and 10 anything less unacceptable, he is 7’4 no excuses

  5. JJ was and still is one of my fav players! I may be speaking out of line but I see the mans dem being a great GM one day…very attuned, my fav show by far, no yelling no BS

  6. Does Steve always look like he's so happy to be there? Lol just noticed

  7. He looks Wembanyama so much stronger, balanced out their on the court! If he can stay healthy as is the caveat with any player he is a generational talent. The way he looks in these two pre-season games is phenomenal! He’s definitely the next great spurs big man even though he plays more like a hybrid player and next great NBA player! Will be fun to watch him this year. Must watch

  8. Don't let that distract you from the fact that wemby got legs made of chinese steel, tofu dreg project at best.

  9. Will the Dunkers Podcast always use free library microphones for every podcast?

  10. Really hard when you can touch the rim while standing! No skill

  11. I know Chet was the hipsters choice for ROTY, but as good as Chet is, he ain’t got nothing on Wembanyama. Wemby will be ROTY 💯

  12. I got to live to see
    Allen Iverson
    Kobe Bryant
    Shaq
    Lebron james
    Stephen currry
And now this Kid. Blessed to be alive at this time

  13. Not that related to the contents of the video but we gotta hook the Dunker Spot guys up with professional microphones and such.

  14. As a spurs fan its exciting to know this is the most raw version of wemby were gonna see. As an nba fan its terrifying to know this is the most unpolished version of him too.

  15. Summary: Victor Wembanyama is a very good basketball player and he makes the Spurs a better team.

  16. It’s crazy people think this guy is that good dude look like he fina fall apart every play

  17. The answer is 450. The question: What is the combined IQ score of these three b-ball analysts?

  18. I’d like to the Spurs try to pair him with a downhill attacking guard. Wemby gravity will open up for an Ant man type player to drive to the basket without much threat from shot blockers (not that there are many in the league these days)

  19. I think Wemby has a chance to repeat what David Robinson and TD did their rookie years:

    ROY, All-NBA, All-Defense Team, and All-Star.

Dunno about repeating their added wins tho. (Admiral/TD added +35 and +36 wins their rookie years respectively. Crazy.)

  20. The way most teams have small ball bigs these days I think Wemby is gonna be hard to deal with. Guys like Bam , Looney,Harrell, Al Horford etc. at 6’9 -6’10 even if some of them are defenders they just can’t reach high enough to stop him in certain situations. Even a elite defender like AD might have trouble guarding him since he’s so lengthy and he’s a perimeter threat. If Wemby legs will hold up he will be a force in the league for years to come. And he’s kinda got some Kevin Durant stuff going on with his ball handling skills and shot creation but he’s 7’4 doing it. Such a interesting player.

  21. Here in France, he won mvp, rookie of year, most Block of year , most point of the year . Why not in nba ? Why not in his first year ?

  22. JJ you should be using better pens for notes! Can production plz buy JJ something other than the last-resort box of Bics in the office closet? lol (unless you like those best, which is nuts)

  23. If he turns out to be dominate enough to scheme around then I can see offenses say, if you can't go around his length then go through him. Using a 90s style power offensive post player to power through his chest and arms to get him in foul trouble. It would not have to be a center, but a old style power forward could try it. Think Shawn Kemp, or young Karl Malone.

  24. How do you even inbound the ball on this guy. I could see teams running out of time and having to waste a time out. Can you imagine him jumping on and down with his arms stretched out🕷️🤣

  25. That reach in steal he had at the top of the key vs OKC fucked me up. His reach and ability to get that low to the ground while being 7'4 made me question if he's human or not.

  26. Players just aren't used to someone that long and athletic. They'll have to adjust to attacking his body and looking for where his hands are already and drawing fouls because his reaction time IS slower. That's the only hope. LOL

  27. JJ with the cracked voice and the facial expressions around 3:40 reminded me of James Purefoy. Crazy. Couldn't do the impression any better if he tried.

  28. I watched the games never seen anything like this in my life I dont know whats freakier the defense or the offense

  29. Pop should have gotten Bol Bol when he was available. If anyone can coach Bol Bol and make something of him, it's Pop. Imagine Pop and his New Twin Towers…terrifying.
