2023-2024 watchability

The previous post on Hollinger’s rankings seemed to gather quite a bit of healthy discussion – here’s ESPN’s Zach Lowe’s watchability rankings which put San Antonio as 14th league-wide, and about 9th in the West (he ranks NOP, MEM, HOU, LAC, UTA and POR below, and by extension, OKC, LAL, GSW, DAL, DEN, SAC, MIN, PHX). To be clear, these are watchability rankings, not power rankings. I have to say I disagree for this one – with wemby, we’re less watchable than sacramento? Or minnesota? What do you guys think?

Lowe must have done this before the second preseason game. Wemby is absolutely a top 5 for even non-Spurs fans.

  2. We are fans though so we are biased. Most of us just watch Spurs games.

Little surprised they didn’t squeak into the top 10 due to Wemby and how high Zach has been on Vassell. But there’s a lot of fun teams in the league this year and I can see the arguments for everyone in the West that finished ahead of the Spurs.

I think we’re watchable even during frustrating games, but obviously I’m biased. But I would think lots of people would want to watch Wemby either way.
