    Highsmith and Cain look great

I need to see Jovic handling the ball more. Standing in the corner is wasting his skillset.

bruh can’t just shoot from half court? lol

Our 3rd string/G League just went toe to toe with Nets starters and 2nd string. Jovic needs some time to develop, Cain and Haywood are earning themselves so good minutes. Everything is good in Heat land

Still feeling uneasy about this team. Hopefully it’s just preseason, but they seem to be making a lot of mistakes.

  5. Not gonna lie, this was a boring game, out of all the preseason games they’ve played.

Bam is a different player this year. He’s so confident on offense, I don’t even care if he misses. He’ll probably get DPOY just from the fact that his offense will start getting people to pay attention to him.

Biggest brightside of this game, Jrich looks damn good at pointguard 24-9 in the 1st Q

Biggest takeaway Jovic, kept in the corner not doing his game.

I know the PG position is a little whack right now but what’s the plan for Dru Smith exactly? Regardless, I like us more this season than last

We lost but the league ain’t ready for High-Cain 3 and D duo 💦💦😩😩

    Takeaways:

Haywood Highsmith can be a legitimate contender for most improved player.

Jamal Cain was excellent. Felt like he was in ten places at once.

Dru Smith is probably not going to make the 15-man.

Hope J Rich is all right.

    Swider has potential.

Bam’s confidence in the mid-range needs to keep rolling.

Jovic had some good moments, but he needs to be more confident overall. I also feel he’s being misused. Spending too much time in the corner looking like Luol Deng in 2016.

Orlando Robinson has been very disappointing so far. Kind of looking like a Chris Silva situation.

Thomas Bryant has impressed me. Solid footwork and doesn’t have a problem challenging anyone at either end of the floor.

Duncan has diversified his game and it will serve him well. He should find his stroke from 3 at some point.

I’m a fan of Champagnie. Solid fundamentals and the right mindset. Should be able to find a role on this team.

Spo probably should have challenged the OB ruling at ~15 seconds, and should have called a timeout after the jump ball after the challenge. Nothing major.

We took a complete playoff roster to the wire with third stringers. We’re going to be just fine.

Jovic needs way more preseason minutes. He’s not used the way he’s being played. See him playing in FIBA, he’s easily moving up n down the court. Off ball and handling it. Here, he has to catch on the wing or hope that he gets it as he”s cutting to the middle.

when was the last time Duncan had a good shooting game?

  13. Refs were handing us some gifts to keep it interesting. Still was nice to see our guys hang on with the Nets’ starters and bench unit.

Cain and Highsmith have been standouts. Champagnie looks like there’s potential there, would like to see him next year after a year in the system.

I keep waiting for summer league Orlando to show up. He hasn’t shined the way I thought he would.

Jovic is still so raw but there’s flashes of potential. He’s fast on the drive for his size. His shooting form looks good. He’s not lost on defense–he’s not a lockdown guy at all but he’s staying with his man and denying drives on the baseline. He needs as many minutes as he can get. If he can master one skill this season it should be the drive-and-kick without turning it over.
