As a born and raised Philly fan I’m over James Harden if he doesn’t want to me here let him walk as a fan I am ready for the season and over the drama!
Daryl lied to Harden on multiple occasions, He took less money on the grounds he’d get a max the following year than after telling 76ers front office he no longer wants to play there instead of just walking in FA he opted in on the grounds they would trade him for assets which they didn’t. I don’t blame him for not trusting anything the franchise says at this point

Thankfully, Sixers ownership group — same group that owns 2 of our rivals in the NFL & NHL — is spending big… on promoting a new arena because majority of fans don’t want it!
They don’t care about a winning. Owners are patronizing towards the city/fans, also. So, this James Harden stuff feels like history repeating itself & just white noise at this time. I wish Harden could speak out on what was done but I’m not hold my breathe

this is gonna end up in a courtroom. People dont realize that when SAS said that harden has a lot of money he wasnt joking, harden as an active net worth of 450 million which would make him the 2nd richest player in the league currently behind lebron james. Alledgely Harden told former teammate patrick beverly that back in 2016 that when shaq named him shaqtin a fool mvp that cost him an 150 million partnership deal with rolex. Harden also has a case that nba media voters have colluded and intentionally voted againist him for all-nba when he more than qualified over guys like jaylen brown and fox thus lowering his market value. I mean we saw kaepernick take a more powerful league to court in the nfl and they ended up settling for 50 million. Harden right now whether you want to believe it or not based on this past season basketball reference basically deemed him a top 12 player in the league. So Harden is defintely entitled to a max contract especially if the likes of austin reaves and fred van vleet got one. Get yo popcorn ready
Harden opted in because he knew nobody would pay him as much for scoring 8 points in an elimination game.
I would love it if Harden would no show the rest of his career.
TLDR of Harden saga: Harden has tanked his own trade value so badly that no team wants to pay what the 76ers are asking, yet he has also wrecked his relationship with the 76ers (perhaps with cause).
Some other tid bits. The 76ers want two 1sts and Mann for Harden. Harden also wants a max when he gets to his new team and to be the offense's centerpiece. Harden almost had a deal with the Rockets for a max contract until he went there and said he wants to be scoring champ again instead of a 2nd or 3rd option and Udoke said no thanks.
They put the guy that stole his wife had a baby with her as a teammates of Harden. What a slap in the face.
