Warriors picked Mr Triple Single aka Talkman over this guy… they were setup well to build the young guns for the last couple of years but have fumbled it big. I don’t see them getting into the finals again with the aging core and lack of improvement in the roster.

Didn't look like the knicks were playing anything close to a normal in-season defense against Poole. Let me know when he does this on a regular basis (w/out high TO ratio) mid season. Oh and also let me know when he starts to play anything close to an average defense. Cause I watched him score very sporadically last year (38 pts 1 game, 8 pts the next) and as good as he was scoring last year, he was equally bad on the defensive end, thus effectively canceling out his effect on the game overall. And the Warriors know from a lot of experience that having poor defenders does not equate to winning basketball/championships… not to mention he simply doesn't play Warriors style basketball (aka high motion offense).

This is all coming from a dubs fan in the bay area. I watched him play every night do everything he did well as well as everything little and big thing he did horribly wrong. Fact of the matter is he was a net negative for the team… the Draymond/Poole incident didn't just happen out of nowhere. Its now common knowledge that Poole was a bad teammate long before the punch, which is a whole other conversation.
Anyways, fact is the trade was the best thing for both parties… period, end of story… no matter what happens from here on out to my Dubs or Poole.

Draymond literally cost the warriors a chip when he got his a** suspened in that warriors Cleveland series, He cost them Durant when he disrespected that man and now he's cost them Poole who was a young and up coming talent. Smh
Some people are letting their emotions cloud their judgement. What Poole is doing isn't new. He has been an exceptional scorer since he came into the league. It's like you all casually forget he was their second leading scorer off the bench. Even last year when Steph was out, Poole carried alongside Klay. The Warriors knew all this and still traded him after giving him the big contract. I believe he just wasn't a good system player. They got tired of telling him to play a certain way. And the Draymond punch just made things worse. Because now he was completely disengaged. He isn't the first scorer to be traded from the Warriors. And he might not be the last.
