This team is worse than last year, and significantly worse than two years ago. Ime had those boys playing all time great D had he been given another year they would have won it last year. Now their defensive identity is completely gone now that Rob, Grant, and Smart all left or got traded.
KP has been passed around like whore for a reason – hes injury prone and selfish. Holiday's playoff struggles get ignored by the media bc hes such a great guy, and he doesn't solve the decision making issues at end of games if anything he makes it worse. Everyone wants to talk about his D but last time I saw him play Jimmy Butler gave him 42 a game.
Congrats on beating the Knicks' backups in the preseason, but thats about all this team will accomplish.

Al Horford is the most underrated defensive player of all time.
Celtics in the full court press shocked me, they only did that out of desperation last year. I hope that's part of their MO this season, they scored something like 17pts off turnovers in the first half. They're always at their best when their defense leads to offense. They still need to cleanup their own turnovers though, they could have scored 90 in the 1st half if not for all the TOs.

They can have the regular season. The playoffs are what matters and there's no way this team stays healthy and has consistently good performances from JT, JB, and Kristaps. Either one or all of those guys will choke or get injured.
63 wins and they should beat Milwaukee 4-2 at worst in the playoffs if all things stay the same. Dame will struggle against this squad and they have a 3rd defender to lock up Middleton. Porzingis when healthy provides enough in the interior to make it out East

Im sorry this is cap to me.Giannis is a significantly better player on offense and defense than tatum and damian lillard is a better player than brown .Celtics have a more rounded roster but if i was giannis and dame better for them to focus on finishing top 5 or top 4 save your legs and be ready to go in playoffs.Giannis is an all time great player and a superstar but i hope he can add a better mid range game if he had that at just 50 to 60 percent it would be game over.Also taytum and jalen are not superstar players both those players are second best players on a championship team.Tatum is so overrated they treat him like kobe because he playes that kobe style game that cannot win unless you have an all time great coach.Typical Giannis disrespect.When lebron was in the eastern conference even if his team was not the best he would be favourite to win the east but when giannis is clearly the best player in the east you are trying to say another team will run away with the conference thats cap to me.Those guys on celtics are not superstar players they have melted many many times and giannis has never melted in playoffs just carried teams on his back offensively and defensively.
I know Dante isn't exactly some offensive beast but he can get hot and drain some 3s for sure. He's a great pickup for them.

I don't really understand where Dame thought he was gonna fit in with Miami, aside from an endless summer on South Beach drinking his Modelos surrounded by g-strings (not necessarily a bad thing). As a team, they're undersized already and have J-Buckets in full effect leading the way. Dame's going through a divorce and now a complete 180 to a near-endless winter in Milwaukee. I get a "cat stuck up a tree" vibe when I see him in interviews. And they got a coach that has to go through some Freshman freakouts this year. It's pre-early but…if Giannis doesn't sniff the dominance he's looking to find, he may be the next one demanding a trade. Meanwhile, Jrue looks like he didn't miss a beat, trading one green uniform for another in a flash like Superman in a phonebooth. Gonna be a season! 🍿👀
