I appreciate the work you put in. Always in depth commentary. Al-p is struggling because it's more pressure on him this season to shine and prove that he deserves all the allocates that media have given him. There wasn't as much pressure during Silas tenure,because light was being put on the coaching. Thats why coach Idoka says slow the game down. Awesome podcast!!
We going to need another aggressive and defensive big that rebounds. We are too small! Dwight Howard or Tristan Thompson might fit well. Since we miss out Javale Mcgee.
Do the Rockets consider trading for Miles Turner?
If Alperen sengun continue to struggle Ime should insert jock landale in the starting 5, until sengun proves he’s ready for the season. Benching him could be good for him. He can rediscover his himself, his energy and motivation.
I would figure out what it takes to get Myles Turner because he fits this team better than anyone on our roster at the center position. I love Alpi but ultimately don’t think he’s a starting center.

Generally, people always focus on alperen's weaknesses instead of focusing on his strengths. This situation seems to me like judging a fish by looking at its ability to climb a tree. Sengun is not an athletic person like Jokić. This feature should also be taken into consideration when using him in defense. What I mean is, I think it is wrong to expect him to be perfect in defense as well.

Pop more than likely gamed planned for Alpy. He may not be used to that on an NBA level. Either way we should just give him some time.
Maybe Sengun doesn’t do well in structure. Maybe he only thrives when he is the man.
Alpi is aware that a lot is expected of him this season, and this puts a lot of pressure on him. In the matches he played with Turkey in the summer, his free throw and three-point percentages were very good and it was obvious that he was working on these issues. However, it seems that he cannot handle the pressure in the NBA preseason games for now. It's still early and as he plays this pressure will decrease.
Jabari should be no lower than option three especially since at least eye test wise, so far he is the most efficient and reliable scorer. Personally I think he will end up being the star of this team or the main work horse.
Refs had some horrible calls on sengun, he seems to be punished by the officials
AlP doesn't play well against atletic bigs.

I would have liked to see more hudgins mins. hes a great ball handler and shooter. Most likely better than Holiday. This game shows how much we need JG in order to prevent teams from clogging the paint on AL P b/c they know some of the other players are not shooters

Al p must be like Al Pachino if he wants to overcome about this complication . He needs more Attention for Udoka's system .
I'm not too worried about Alpi on the offensive end. 3 preseason games with not alot of continuity with personnel. We got used to seeing his timing and passing connection with KJ Martin cutting and the closest we have had to that was Jalen in game 1 of preseason.
Sengun is not that guy.. He’s Luis Scola if he ever discovers a jump shot at best. I like him don’t get me wrong, but the expectations are extremely too high. He’s a 4, not a 5.

Sengun always struggle against good bigs in the NBA.We need a 7'0 or over solid rim protector and rebounding machine and it will help if the person could shoot as well and then we will be ready
