NBA teams have exposed the Warriors lack of size. Yes we can shoot, but in the paint we are getting dominated. That means rebounds, blocks and rim protection which is minimal at best!!! Klay is still struugling turn overs are still an issue and we dont have a big! Warriors are good, but no where near a championship team. Every other team is sizing up but the Warriors are focused on guards? It was a nice run but without a BIG it's over!!! Sorry

Coming off two potentially career ending injuries more expectedly so in Clay Thompson's case is even more a reality! Managements of professional sports however is not in the nursery and empathy game! The bottom line is profits and keeping the owners, investors, sponsors and media happy! They would unceremoniously dispatch Clay Thompson to another team despite his years of contribution to their success in the hope his value as a veteran player can get them another caliber player who's younger and not as injury prone! One can summarize that Clay Thompson's camp is not giving him the advise he needs but pandering to his request! No professional veteran player on any team in any sport discipline is going to get a max contract with limited years of playing time ahead in his career! Clay Thompson is no Steph Curry and last season showed the huge gap in their respective game! Many may not remember the weeks before the Ellis trade..Golden State took a huge gamble on Steph Curry as he had a serious injury prone label as well..I'm not sure their success would have been this magnified with they keeping Ellis instead of Steph Curry! Clay Thompson need to be more realistic in his negotiating of his contract and seek a retirement package deal instead of a max contract as that's not going to happen! It would be foolish to burn bridges with Golden State at this juncture of his career! Except it matters not to him! As many veteran fans I'll wait for mid season to have any assessment of Golden State chances of making a conference finals appearance or snagging another championship! I'm not going to be too concerned with Saric's bad shooting night, or that he missed 2 ft's at the tail end of the game. As far as Klay is concerned, for a guy who came back from almost 3 years not playing, no offseason training last year, and starting out the season averaging 12ppg for the on woeful efficiency, he had a great season. His playoff performance was bad, but once the season starts, he'll be locked in. He desperately wants a 5th ring, and he has a chip on his shoulders.

And let's not forget how Steph be Steph'n on the Kings whenever he gets the chance. When Steph plays against certain teams (i.e… Kings, Clippers, Rockets, Pelicans, Spurs) it's like he has no respect for their defense and just shoots lights out— he simply Stephs All Over Them!
