The Timberwolves Are DARK HORSE Contenders

In 2023, the Minnesota Timberwolves had a season from hell. Karl Anthony Towns was limited to just 29 games due to injury, the Gobert trade hasn’t panned out thus far, and the team consequently fell short of their lofty expectations.

However, the Timberwolves still made the playoffs in the face of chaos. Not only that, Anthony Edwards made an all-star leap and will be even better next season, Jaden McDaniels has proven to be an excellent player for the team, Mike Conley has been a great stabilizing presence, and Naz Reid was able to return on a terrific deal. Here’s why the Timberwolves should be a really dangerous team in 2024, a team that’s good enough to contend with the best.

  1. I'm not selling the Wolves short here and I hope for the very best but I think In the west a .500 record will be good for anybody and I don't really expect many teams to hit or go over 50 wins. This is going to be a tough conference baby.
