I think you kind of have to do it if they’ll take a reasonable deal. Can’t give up anything more than a pick, not giving up Jovic, Jaquez, or Martin. Not a Harden fan but it would be the kind of talent glut contenders typically had.

I’m not a Harden fan, and I don’t really want to give up young talent for him, but a 1-year rental for a cheap price would be interesting at least. Plus it would be kinda funny if, after years of arguing that DWade > Harden because of the playoff success, Harden gets a ring with the Heat of all teams.

i see no middle-ground with harden and the heat. he’ll either be galvanized by the discipline or become an even greater liability

The only way I’m gonna want to have Harden is because we’re getting him cheap af. I’d pretty much rather not give up more of our remaining depth. This is not to say Harden is a bad player though, but it’s just difficult with the current roster situation.

Ira is the only Heat beat reporter worth listening to. He runs the “Unpleasant Truths” booth and Barry runs the “Comforting Lies” booth where everyone’s lined up. With that said, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone; we all know that Harden isn’t really a Heat fit, but a 1yr rental (esp if it comes cheap) would certainly be intriguing.
