The New York Knicks played their final preseason game last night against the Wizards, wrapping up a 1-3 showing during NBA preseason. While it is still preseason, a concerning pattern/trend is being witnessed, lack of defense on the perimeter and at the 3-point line. A trend that has been consistent with the team since last year and now seems to be following them into this season. Giving up uncontested or mildly contested 3 point shots, it a recipe for disaster in the modern NBA. The Knicks allowed the Celtics to shoot them out from 3 point land and just allowed a rebuilding Wizards team to do the same. The Knicks also made some roster cuts as we are a week away from the season. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

When do we?
Say to ourselves that Hey, we got talent. It's the scheme the coaching schemes that's hurting us.
Instead of shipping off good players, young players. That's helping us grow. We gotta look at a coach at first.
I recently seen on a n.y. pod cast where a fan made sense in the comments section and it was real talk but made me sad because no other coach will want coaching n.y. knowing they would only last for a year or two & that's true but i don't respect thibadeau's coaching and player assessment.
Leon's answer for fixing our perimeter defense in the offseason….get even smaller players!! Smdh
