This sochan pg experiment is nonsense! Jalen Rose, Grant Hill, Magic, Lebron, Penny Hardaway were big pg's. Sochan is nowhere near those kind of guys talent went it comes to initiating offense and ball handling. He doesn't even push the pace to get easy buckets in transition like the guys I mentioned. I can't believe people are ok with this. I know there not winning a championship, but I still hate this experiment.
Love this starting line-up . In the future, the Spurs will need a very good PG (excellent facilitator, 3 pt. threat, finish at the rim off drives and backdoor cuts). I don't think Wemby will ever play his best game at the 5. Spuirs look like a 30-win team this year that doesn't make the playoffs. They will start contending for championships in 2026-27!
I haven't been following the Spurs the last couple of years. But if they have to put Jeremy at point and have such little faith in Jones. THEY NEED TO TRADE FOR A LEGITIMATE POINT GUARD, THIS YEAR, STOP WASTING TIME
Honestly this starting 5 did not mesh well for Keldon or Wemby both looked way out of sync . Vassell Balled out but man the first quarter was kinda hard to watch keldon and wemby . I wasnt high on Jones Before preseason started but hes winning me over . I think inserting jones in starting 5 and Bringing keldon off the bench will be a move pop makes in the future
Not only are these our best 5 players and the best lineup for building moving forward (4 of 5 are on long term deals). The alternative of having Tre in there, while having to compesnate for his bad 3 point shooting and poor defensive abilities, makes this lineup the only option. Anything else (unless its like Branham for Zach) is stupid

this lineup has defense offense and size just wait for them to develop more chemistry 🔥
We'll know in a dozen games whether this sticks. Pop has been known to start a season one way and then switch it up in December.
