  1. This list was made based on predictions of where players will be by the end of the season, not the start

  2. The ESPN list is a joke. Jokic is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above everyone else having a top 5 best offensive post season in NBA history individually. Only lebron and jordan have had better offensive runs.
Its sad that such a large company can't even make a list more accurate than a casual viewer like myself.
    Actual list:
Jokic – Top 5 best offensive post season ever, NBA champion, FMVP, even was above average on defense while being by far the best offensive player in the NBA.
Curry – Still in peak form, only criticism is lack of playoff success but that isn't his fault.
Giannis – Top 5 offensive and defensive player in the NBA but has struggled too many times in the playoffs with this season being his worst.
Luka – My vote for 2024 MVP. If he has a good 2024 season he is on track to be a top 5 NBA player of all time.
KD – Regressed a bit but still is unguardable. His drives aren't the same as before. He hasn't contributed to winning basketball as much as others.
Butler – Playoff riser, natural leader, transforms into Kobe in the playoffs. If this was just a list for playoff performance, he would be 2-3. Only reason he can't be higher is because he chills in the regular season. His potential seems to be worse than others on this list but his grit more than makes up for it.
Tatum – Potential-wise is higher than Butler and as KD regresses can take his spot but he's too inconsistent. When he's in the zone he's a top 3-4 player in the NBA. Don't ever think he will win an MVP tho with players like Luka, Giannis, Jokic in the league.
Embiid – MVP but only regular season stat junkie
Anthony Davis – Best defensive player in the NBA but still couldn't guard Jokic. Questionable offensive game.

Leonard – From 2019 to 2021 I believed Kawhi to be the best player in the NBA. If every player was healthy 100% of the time IMO he's on par with Giannis.
    Booker – Historic offensive production
Lillard – Proven playoff riser and closer
Edwards – Proven playoff riser and closer
Murray – Since the bubble I had ranked him the 3rd best PG in NBA but for some reason people only start catching on now once he's won a ring. SMH.
Shai – No playoff experience + his style of play makes me think that he will be more injury prone and will perform worse in the playoffs, similar to Embiid, rather than rise
Brown – Glaring weaknesses with his handle and left hand finishing.
Mitchell – No recent playoff experience
Adebayo – Top 3 on ball defender in the NBA, needs to develop jumpshot
Fox – One of the most clutch NBA players

  3. Sadly KT and kerr and green are all still living in the past ….. it is really unfair to the fan

  4. Anthony edwards has been criminally underrated his whole career. About time he’s gotten his shine.

  5. If your reasoning for ANT and SGA is they haven’t accomplished anything yet then you have to put Victor Wembanyama on this list because then he shouldn’t even be on the list in general by that logic. I think what the list on ESPN is saying is that’s a projection for next year.

  6. Playing 79 games and carrying your injured team to the playoffs while averaging 30 points a game as a 22 year old isn’t a real justification to be a superstar?? And the Timberwolves being the “most disappointing teams overall” has nothing to do with Anthony edwards but has everything to do with kat missing 53 games and the team adjusting to a brand new way of playing with Rudy on the floor. Not to mention getting a completely different point guard half way through the season.

  7. Most of your judgement are based on past achievements and the past season. You forgot the title of this clip is “coming into the new season”

  8. Shai was top 10 last season, he doesn't seem out of place for me in the top 15. I definitely have him above LeBron and Lillard for the next regular season.
    Agreed about the others.

  9. I think Klay Thompson at 44 is okay. If I were to choose who to have on my team between klay or lamelo, i would choose klay. He’s the type of player that every team needs. In his prime, he was top 20 and him at 44 is justified.

  10. The way they do their list is based off how the THINK they will perform this season… Not there past success, I agree with you anyway though lol

  11. I’m picking klay rn over all those guys you said lol expect lamelo and still maybe lamelo need to prove something

  12. SGA fully deserves his spot. He's played like a superstar and a team that does not fit around him at all (horrible lack of shooting) is the reason his team hasn't won. His already-impressive efficiency is going to skyrocket when he gets a few shooters to play next to

  13. You seem like you overrate Kyrie. I'd put at least most of these players above him. What has Kyrie done since leaving Cleveland? He is a pretty bad defender and I feel like people like his flashy style but at the end of the day is he really a winning player that actually deserves the hype he gets?

  14. You missed The Point of that list! And you probably didnt watch WC. SGA and Edwards were absolutly dominante. Anyway we dont after it is Nice video 😊

  15. I can tell you don’t watch games lol. Edwards made one of the worst sports franchises relevant. 37% at three is the league average. We are going to get the curry average. Dudes gotten zero coverage since entering the league. Stop reading stats, watch the games

  16. Hes perfectly rated by ESPN the rest of world dont understand that ants going to be the face of the NBA they need to remember hes only 22
