  1. NBA YouTubers are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for content now. The season can't come soon enough.

  2. Brooklyn looked great before they blew it all up for KD and friends. They'll find a way to do it again

  3. Did you say Brooklyn is a contender!? For the playoffs sure but not for a championship let's be real 😅

  4. I don't think Ben is ever gonna go back to All Star level but it's possible that he could become a pretty solid role player

  5. If the boy can just be tight on defense, I consider that a win. Not expecting much on the offensive side.

  6. As a fellow nets fan I can’t wait for this season. I’m going to the nets vs nuggets game on the 23rd of December

  7. Ben Simmons has the mental toughness of a 13 year old 2nd string Cheerleader that saves her Starbucks cup to drink water from so she can fit in.

  8. If you have a stretch big on the court with Ben all his offensive issues completely go way. Just something to think about….

  9. I don’t know mate, he scored 2 points yesterday, and his scoring has gotten worse each preseason game. He still looks too timid in attacking the rim for me. A guy his size and speed should be dominating like Giannis but he can’t seem to score at the moment.

  10. Imagine if Ben planned this all along and just tanked last season on purpose so people's expectation is basically zero at the start of this season and suddenly he turned into prime 76ers Ben who can shoot jumpshots

  11. On Any Given night Ben Simmons will give Brooklyn a double-double points and rebounds, or points and assists. Doc Rivers and some of those b** ass teammates of his( who were also on the court losing 2 25 Point leads in two different games) tried to blame him for their collapse against Atlanta. Ben Simmons was gone so who fault was it last year in the year before that. It wasn't Ben Simmons fault that Matisse thybille missed one of the free throws. It damn sure wasn't Ben Simmons fault that Joel embiid got the ball taken away from him the next time down Court. It wasn't Ben Simmons fault that Tobias Harris didn't do s*** neither.

  12. That’s a bad take saying Claxton struggles as a rebounder. When you play a defense that primarily switches and hrs contesting shots 18+ feet away from the basket, you can’t expect him to get the rebound as well

  13. From Nets fan to Nets fan, brooklyn at the absolute very BEST could make six seed, If absolutely everything goes right. Realistically i see us nets being a 7-10 seed. Absolute best is Bridges continues what he did second half of the season, Simmons goes to to 80-90% of what he was (which wasnt the best anyways), the rookies being good compared to where they were drafted, Cam thomas improves to where hes trusted to play consistently, thet can make it past the play in, but honestly, i dint see ALL if the happening just to make it better than a play in team.

  14. I think the Nets have a deep roster with a lot of potential and good defensive players Nic Claxton and Cam Johnson are going to have breakout seasons and i truly believe Mikal Bridges will be a all star this year plus good role play players like Cam Thomas and Finney Smith and Royce O’Neill
    Spencer Dinwiddie

  15. Is Ben Simmons not one of those players who has to PROVE he’s still got it? If I’m the other team, I’m daring him to shoot and JEERING HARD when he misses. It’s been too long since his All-NBA days and I’m not convinced he’s still got it.

  16. simmons in the NBA
    4.5 years in the league.

    4 years elite, 3 x all star, rookie of the year 2 x defensive first team 1 x steals leader 1 x ALL-NBA.

0.5 year – played 42 games injured, needing back surgery after an entire year not playing stilled the only 1 of 3 players in luka, jokic to average more than 6 rebounds and 6 assists while having reduced minutes.

Moral of the story, this narrative that simmons had 3 bad full seasons is propaganda and he has always been elite excluding 42 games and now he has finally healed.

  17. Naaaaaaa…. I'm not having any hope in Ben… As far as I'm concerned, he is only chasing the bag, with his current contract slowly expiring.

  18. Imo, its too early to judge, let him play a few competitive match (regular season). But as long as he is on his max contract he will always be criticized. For a guy receiving that amount of money he will never reach the production u expect from a max player. Same goes with Rudy Gobert
