  1. Lol they actually played more physical in the Euro League. Ask Luka he actually said it was easier to score in the NBA and it shows. Wemby would be just fine.

  2. What KG doesn't talk about with the 3pt corner example is that Wemby with his size and speed has the ability to disrupt both the driver to the rim and the corner shooter. He can follow the driver for the block, force the pass and he only has to make 2 big strides and he is in the corner contesting the 3. You'll see him do a lot of that eventually. Pressure the driver, maybe not job, then recover to the 3pt shooting center. A guy like Embiid for instance isn't going to put it on the floor to get around him, so it'll be interesting to see how he'll lock em up!

  3. Love KG and this guy together are a great balance. Also feel he pulls the best out of KG. Athlete with a Joe so they talk it through more systematically.

  4. Just by rolling and getting dunks he’ll average 20…… once he get comfortable with his shots, he’ll easily be average 25+

  5. I was sceptical of the hype, didnt wanna jump on bandwagon but if he won't be fucked up by serious injuries, he gonna destroy league in few years. I have never seen anything like this. Offensively and defensively, I'm also excited for Spurs fans and Pop cos they've been irrelevant for too long.

  6. I'm not sure what Katie means by his body is not conditioned. The man played in the French ligue where he's playing against grown ass men. He was not playing college ball. I think Wendy is going to play 75 to 80 games this year and his body will be just fine.

  7. I understand the acclimation to the league, but guys like Scoot, Wemby, and Luka all played professional ball prior to their arrival in the NBA. Luka played the most games in his career thus far in his rookie year at 72. I believe Wemby and Scoot will have the best run for ROTY and Chet coming in third.

  8. Hes going to make All NBA First Team, ROTY, NBA All Star, and All Defensive team just like Tim Duncan did.

  9. what gets me is that all his offense came in the flow of the game, he didn't force anything – no jacking 3's or over handling. at times, it's like he realized he can just play over someone, plus I think he has a killer instinct.

  10. You can tell KG legit knows the game on a deep level, respect. I still think alot of pro players never really change their game from high school where they are the lead scorer. Which hurts them ultimately

  11. This is just one of the best analist out there. No bullsh.. realistic and his takes are on point. Even when he's gives critisism, he does it in a uplifting way.

  12. Everything KG is saying is valid but we all fail to realize Wemby has already been the focal point of a team with tons of expectations. I think he’s more ready than Luka was.

  13. Aye naw I checked the odds on Victor to lead league in blocks that shit +500 on fan duel 😂😂😂 wonder what it was on there when this was recorded

  14. We have to wait and see. The real regular season starts next week. But, the media has the tendency to overhype things. I know that the Spurs will have patience with him. I hope Wemby will not let the media and outside noise of expectations influence him.

  15. Expectations rookie of the yr for sure and a playoff birth sry but not sry he has been a pro for 2 years just as lamelo ball did thats why he had a impact but wemby is 1of 1 fr

  16. If he stays healthy he should become really good. I hope this is what happens. But you never know with even traditional 7' guys how well their joints will hold up, nevermind someone so much taller who drives and handles the ball.

He might become the greatest player of all time. Or his knee might explode on a random no contact jump for a rebound like Sean Livingston did.

Let's hope for the best but ppl are saying way too much too early.

  17. When I saw him rip somebody going to the basket last game. I was like”wtf” this is the best defensive prospect ever. He’s more than a shot blocker . Hes a defensive anchor.
