The mountain is the sillouette of Mount Elbert, the largest mountain in Colorado and in the Rockies, representing the “peak” of the championship last season. The typeface choice uses a gold nugget motif.
In composition, the jerseys are similar to the skyline series, with more of an emphasis on gold (representing last year’s championship). The skyline itself has been excluded as the focus on mount elbert would make it a little jarring.
And, of course, Casa Bonita is the sponsor patch. We can only pray.
