Looking through comments of this video, they were pointing out how MPJ did not seem to be a part of the “family” chant and given how this comes a bit after the Calvin Booth comment on how MPJ is a “me first mentality” kind of guy even though he seemed to have perfectly aligned in the system, I do hope they had some heart to heart with Calvin apologizing.
MPJ is getting a lot of s**t on a regular basis, but he really had bought in and I hope Nuggets appreciate him as much as possible, because given his attitude I do believe that is the least of what he deserves.

I understand there aren’t games this weekend so maybe you’re bored, but there’s really no need to be writing Nuggets fan fiction. Nothing about this is helpful. Stop the projection.

Oh my gosh, Jokic wasn’t even in the video, is he trying to say he wants out?!
MPJ is fine lol

This is what happens when your team doesn’t have any real drama going on, people start reaching and making shit up. Just be thankful we aren’t the Sixers.

Following a sports team shouldn’t be like following a fictional scripted drama. With a scripted drama you expect all the important stuff to happen on screen for us to watch. With a sports team all that stuff is happening behind closed doors, and we’re never going to know about any of it. If we do know that’s probably a bad thing. If Booth had to publicly walk back the comments on an ESPN pre-season game broadcast it is more than safe to assume that he’s spoken to MPJ about it, and that’s just his relationship with one guy in the organization. It bears no affect on his relationships with the coaches and his teammates.
It’s not wise to equate any little thing you see publicly with a sports team with something else you’ve publicly seen when the vast majority of things that happen with a team outside of games don’t happen in front of the public.

The worst thing about this video award was Justin holiday winning the chain, now this will give Mike Malone another reason to play holiday over guys like Peyton Watson and Julian strawther!
