    I don't want this to sound like I'm low on scottie but IMO this team is best when Scottie is the leader of a 2nd unit that gets 20-24 minutes a game. Play a bench unit that relies on playing around scottie and a starting lineup that has Schroder, Gary, Og, Pascal and Poeltl. Get the 2nd unit to be more clearly Defined around Scottie playing the 3/4 and identifying if it's Dowtin,Flynn or Nowell as the best 2nd pg option. I'd rely on both units working harder in the minutes they play with the surety that regardless of what's happening the minutes will be closely balanced

    But the half court offense was way better. The fact that when the first action didn’t work they actually tried a second and third action is promising. The fact that they didn’t go straight to iso ball when the first action didn’t work is going to help this team in the half court over time. Anytime you give Scottie more opportunities per possession to make a pass, your half court offense will improve.

    Tre has it wrong on defense. They had 31 deflections according to Darko with a less aggressive defense. That’s pretty good.

    Darco specifically emphasized that they look more for deflections rather then steals.
    How do you come to the assumption that their style of play will lead to less deflections?

    i dont know why u guys think 5.5 assists would be a win for scottie. he averaged 4.8 assists now with an increase usage that should get him into the low 6s atleast.
