  1. Come next offseason, if the Knicks are in the same position or better than they were last season, they’re going to go after Giannis first, then try Embiid, and if those don’t work out, they’ll go get Spida given they’ve got all the leverage with him being on an expiring deal.

  2. About the Pelicans take: I think you need to mention the importance of Jonas Valanciunas, his offensive presence and extremely strong rebounding has been instrumental to their success, especially with players out of the lineup for quite a few stretches.
Him being one of the most available players in the league and having constant mismatches due to his extremely strong physical strength and skill around the paint, has just been great.

Also, there are quite a few guys on the Pelican's bench, that all heavily contributed due to the overall health of the team failing. Naji Marshall has really stepped up as a tough defender and replacement scorer and playmaker, Jose Alvarado provided some extremely important energy and tenacity off the bench, Larry Nance jr has been the switchable defensive center that could give them a great alternative for JV and some of the minutes by Jaxson Hayes, Kyra Lewis and Josh Richardson off the bench were quite invaluable too.

And I'm not even mentioning that their best player off the bench, Trey Murphy III, actually should have been in the starting lineup for the entire season, with how well he was playing and improving greatly over the season. Lastly, there is Euroleague MVP Willy Hernangomez, which is a completely underused and underappreciated, skilled, allround big man. The best answer the Pelicans had versus Jokic. I don't know why the team has this many skilled bigs, but it is a luxury that helped them more times than not.

  3. At this point, I would focus on getting rid of harden instead of trying to pursue lillard if i am the sixers

  4. Come next offseason yeah definitely but they are definitely not going to trade for giannis now

  5. One thing team USA has done is made me fear for the pelicans. I think this year will make our break Ingram because we know he’s really good but can he do the things needed to win even if he’s not the main player focused on

  6. I don’t understand what nba casuals don’t get about the knicks changing the culture and front office. No one wanted to go there for the last 20 years for legitimate reasons not because it’s just the knicks and we hate them just because so go with it. People really love to just hate everything for no reason.

  7. If Giannis leaves, he goes to the West. I’d see him in OKC way before I’d see him in New York. OKC’s assets are on par, if not better than New York’s.

  8. Zion being healthy is equivalent to PG and Kawhi finally being healthy or how everyone believes this is the year Luka wins mvp

  9. Philly is at a point where they cannot afford half measures. Go all in on win now or all in on rebuild. Doing 50% of both won't work

  10. Haha, Giannis has no connection to NY…he won’t leave MIN but if he does, it will be to play with Luka 😊

  11. Damn giving away maxey would be a tough pill to swallow. A 22 who just came off back to back seasons shooting over 41% from the 3 and just avg 20 Ppg. Dame is amazing but he’s also 33 which leave a championship window of 3 years maybe and even with both dame and Embiid the 76ers have no talent around them to secure a title. Personally I would shop Embiid and just start a rebuild. Or maybe try to go after Giannis

  12. Portland doesn't want Maxey. They don't want any guards that will take time away from Scoot, Simons and Sharpe. If Portland was smart, they would take Tobias Harris, Montrezl Harrell (both on expiring deals) plus 3 firsts. It clears salary, which is huge in a rebuild.

  13. Thanks for reacting to my take bro 👍. Great summary of how the pelicans are rolling and how much they rely on Zion’s health

  14. Can you imagine the scenes if Dame finally starts declining after a blockbuster deal goes down? With 200+ million left on his contract, I'm not selling the farm for him. Dame's a 33yo guard with a lot of mileage, was an ironman for most of his career…but I'm not sure how much elite gas he has left in the tank.

  15. I’m tired of hearing about the Knicks’ “treasure trove” of picks but them not trading for anyone. Saying they have any sort of plan is giving them too much credit. At least they haven’t traded for Dame, Harden, KAT, or Lavine, defensive liabilities that fall off in the playoffs

  16. I get the willingness to give up Maxey for Dame but what does he do for the Blazers? They already have 3 talented young guards and although Maxey is better than Simons, I’d argue both Sharpe and Scoot have far higher ceilings. If Maxey was involved, I think it’d have to be a 3 team trade

  17. The Knicks might get one of those players in free agency. These 3 teams will be fools to expect any player the Knicks have to offer in a trade. The whole Knicks roster is not worth one of these players.

  18. The Pelicans highlights are so old, Ball was on them as a Pelican. That was two years ago 😂

Zion has been wearing street clothes for a long time.

  19. Sike!!!! Hahaha u thought again Knicks fans u thought again 😂😂😂😂😂. I’m a Knicks fan 😢
