Im liking colby so much. So smart and really smooth I feel he played himself into the rotation. Hes not doing in trash minutrs. He played so good vs the dubs in the dress rehearsal. He had a cple defensive mistakes but i feel thats from being over aggressive. But everyone on this team has those.
I think the streakiness with Huerter comes from his shooting form. He's a low-arch high jump shooter with a bit of a hitch in his shot. He has to be at the top of his game and with complete focus for his shot to be amazing. When his legs are tired, he's mentally distracted or not in a rhythm, he goes cold. He was shooting lights out in the open runs I saw him in over the summer.
Colby could end up being the starting 2 by next year.
Colby fills the gaps at SG in a way that could easily grow.
