  1. Jeff should absolutely been added to this team. Great size, work ethic, IQ, shown improvement, able to D up his man . Flynn does not check all these boxes. To be fair Flynn is the better shooter, ball handler so maybe Raps think he is just the better fit but he certainly is not the better player!

  2. For someone getting a lot of media hype no team with an open two-way slot has offered to sign JDJ to a two-way contract since the Raptors waived him… 10 NBA teams have open two-way slots (NY x2, SA, WA, PHX, ORL, NO, MIL, DAL x2, DET, BRK).

  3. just money. it's a business. as a fan i don't tend to get into the money and contract stuff because of this type of reason. best to see it as a money thing, and move on.

  4. When you have a plant you don't water or give it any sun, don't expect it to grow
99 percent of player in Malachi's position would of failed .
A cheese sandwich needs cheese to be called a cheese sandwich.
If your to tell me a rookie point guard don't need the ball at any time. That when they do something good they are benched after. They only play when Raptors getting blown out.
You tell me any point guard can play like that.
Raptors organization has been a stupid one for last 3 seasons now and they allow blame to divert to Malichi for all the blunders they may except responsibility for.

  5. Temple should have never been signed. Once they signed him that was the last spot. We have Thad Young and Porter JR so why do we need a 37 year old Temple ?

  6. I honestly just want to win. I’ll trust the higher ups, but I’m running on empty with this team.

  7. Because Raptors think they are in the "Power Book" tv series. As Flynn family organization in Power Book. Power Book IV: Force season 1 and season 2.

  8. I think Dowtin is an okay player.. but lets not make a big deal on an end of the bench role player.

  9. The poor decisions from last year also include Hernangomez to replace Yuta's spot, which I guess was fine. But then after waiving him, bringing in Will Barton instead of converting Jeff's 2way? That was criminal.

  10. Ya I still don't understand, Temple doesn't make that much sense as we have vets already, experience is never a bad thing but not at this cost, to lose out on Downtin who already filled a need, that knows our system, is "rotation worthy" and didn't get the proper opportunity to prove himself, this is a L.

  11. Jeff Dowtin earn a roster spot but this team gave open roster spots to Joe Wieskamp, Will Barton and Garrett Temple. Jeff did not get a chance to play in preseason except for 8 mins.

  12. I agree to you, Raptors kept getting player that is not being useful and waived player that has been good every time they are on the floor. Some players had multiple chances and about Dowtin, he’s consistent giving a good game and smart decision. There’s a time, that he’s even better than FVV. Dowtin is one of the players that has been taken for granted . I hope he gets a good team. Wishing you all the best Jeff Dowtin! Raptors fans, have seen YOU!
