The Memphis Grizzlies announced on Sunday that their starting center, Steven Adams, would miss the entire 2023-2024 season due to knee surgery. This, of course, is bad news.     BULLSHIT! There was NEVER A scenario where Adams was going to be able to play with "rehab" with this type of injury! NONE

    Solutions because there will always be problems. gorgui Dieng and Dedmon are both free agents. Dieng has played with a lot of the players that are on this roster. I would also look for a trade with the Heat for Orlando Robinson (the Grizzlies should have acquired him last either with the draft or UDFA) who can also defend on the perimeter.
    I can get the two spots by taking Gilhard's two way contaract away and give to a free agent. Secondly, with the trade theother spot would be open because I think they should take two centers and give themselves some depth in the are and guarantee some rim protection.

    The Grizzlies need to get Dwight Howard on speed dial for the playoffs. The Grizzlies are at their best defensively when JJJ can play the 4 majority of the time

    The Grizzlies should bring in a vet big with playoff experience but they should have done that at the trade deadline last season and most certainly this past off season. To say, however, that the Grizzlies lost that playoff series against the Lakers because of Xavier Tillman is just ridiculous. Game 1 was a fluke where Rui Hachimura goes off for 30 and Ja damn near broke his wrist in the 4th quarter. Game 2 was the first pivotal game of that series and there was no Ja, and X responded by putting up 23, 13, and 3. The other pivotal game was game 4 where the Grizzlies could get back home court and in the game Tillman had 12, 8, and 6 while limiting Anthony Davis to like 11 points. Jaren Jackson only shooting 23% from three in games 2 thru 6 is a main reason why the Grizzlies lost that series.

    They need to figure out a way to get Ja Morant going without Steven Adams opening up lanes for him. He is much less effective without Steven Adams.

    WCJ is a nice thought, but I think it’s far fetched. The Magic are building something nice in Banchero, Wagner, underrated Fultz, a possible Suggs breakout, and they need WCJ at center. They are going to be tough to deal with in the near future IMO. Someone like Robert Williams might be much more reasonable considering The Blazers already have Ayton at Center.
