But they did it. This is honestly some revisionist history shit to make it seem like the clippers knew just how valuable shai would become. They may have loved him, but there were not many people in the league that would have predicted the extent of his growth since that trade.

I recall watching the video of Clippers players the day of the trade. It was Patrick Beverly, Lou Will and Paul George yelling about them being champions because of the trade and some other nonsense. They didn’t seem remotely heartbroken.
And I recall being upset because I knew that Russell Westbrook was going to request a trade shortly after since Paul George left. I miss Brodie.
