  1. I'm not sure that the play-offs should be the priority this year, but I think Pop will have to hold them back with odd rotations and resting players for them not to make at least the play-in.

  2. I originally thought the Spurs would not make the playoffs, but after seeing the team against the Warriors I can definitely see them squeaking in the playoffs. Wemby and Vassell will be a great duo both averaging 20+ points.

  3. I already said that the Spurs could make the playoffs, as a long shot. So much depends on how much Pop plays Wemby, Johnson, and Vassell. Pop is in control and he may choose to use the season to develop players. Hopefully he will prioritize winning games and let player development happen naturally.

  4. Think Keldon will benefit from not having the defense plan for him and sending their better defenders on him. Might help with his streakiness. Hopefully he will be more efficient with less touches.

  5. What's wrong with you people? Stop overthinking it! Wemby is going to average 26-30ppg. I don't understand how people can't see that Wemby is virtually unstoppable on offense. Spurs are going 55-27.

  6. My Western Conferance Power Rankins : Nuggets 1. Suns 2. Lakers. 3. Kings 4. Wolves. 5. Warriors. 6. Clippers. 7. Spurs 8. Pelicans 9. Thunder 10. Grizzlies 11. Mavs 12. Houstan 13. Utah 14. Blazers. 15.
Very Very hard to rank and gosh these teams are gonna be seperated by probably 1 or 2 games when post season rolls around, Honeslty might have put a little spurs bias but other than that I feel the rankings are fair. Do yall suggest any different?

  7. You should place a bet I think Vegas has them winning 28.5 games this year. The glimpses we've seen this preseason I think they are going to get more than 28 lol

  8. Wasn't expecting the "Jim Mora" impression at the start LOL! Another reason why I love this channel.

  9. They lost 42 games last season when within 10 points. I think they had 20 of those games last year but chose to lose. So add those 20 losses to their 22 wins and I think 42 wins is a realistic outcome.

  10. They’re gonna compete a lot sooner than ppl think I believe! We got a good team and a player none want any of on either side of court, Pop knows how to win in this league with good players. He had this in mind from day 1.
    lol

  11. 30 wins is ridiculous. We won 48 games in the 2018-19 season with just demar and aldridge and the current roster is way better back then. Vasell will continue to develop as an all-star plus add a generational player will won them at least 45 games barring injuries.

  12. I've been a Spurs fan since 1986, but we will almost certainly NOT be a playoff team this season. The Vegas line is 29.5 wins. We'll beat that but not by more than 5 or 6 games. Playoffs next season and contending for a championship by 2026-27.

  13. Will the SPURS win more than 28.5 games? That's the question I don’t know about you guys but when I have a chance I going to comb through the schedule, factor in the minutes Wemby will play, and if it looks plausible, I'm putting 3k on the Spurs to beat the Vegas odds. You guys should really consider it too! Also, I think Keldon will be fine! Wemby will only be playing half the game with the minutes he will be averaging! There will be plenty of touches to go around!

  14. Selfishly i hope Dougy buckets doesn't get traded. If all we're gonna get is more second round picks, I'd rather just keep him as a shooter and mentor to the young guys. He just feels like a true spur.

  15. With inflation, our opinions are worth more now. 😂 There was an interesting video posted by a GSW fan pointing out how Steve Kerr adjusted his teams response to Wemby. Basically speed and off-ball physicality to keep Wemby out of the play. So we may see more slowing the game down by walking the ball up after an opposing team score and Wemby walking up alongside to preserve energy. I agree on your prediction on minutes. But as long as that is the approach, Keldon and Vassel duo will be crucial.

  16. By the 1/2 full tank mode. Trust the process. No elite stars are flocking to San Antonio anytime soon ..

  17. GSG! Of course, we're back to the playoffs imo. Now let's hope everyone stays healthy or that could change too. 🙏

  18. Good stuff as always. I'm hoping they are a play in team that wins it then wins a first round series too. None of the starters have been in the playoffs. Not certain about bench players. But, if they can win a first round series and get a 7th round pick from Toronto, that would be the best case scenario moving forward.

  19. The Spurs are going to focus more on winning this season, so that alone should count for 7-8 wins. I see them anywhere from a 6 seed to a play in team.

  20. I don't see play in for the Spurs this ywar but i dont see them improving of course i just trust some of the teams ahead of them more like the thunder and twolves and pelicans mavs and kings all got proven players and more depth but i still see a much improved team for the spurs this year compared to last year

  21. I’ve been saying this. Spurs will make the playoffs as the 5th- 8th seed. A lot of Spurs fans are too pessimistic about their own damn team…

  22. If our front office isn't into ESPN articles predicated on excessive "load management" with the cross hairs on Pop and staff.

Better be ready to win and not be blatantly holding talent back.

  23. I would love them in the play in tournament at the least… it would be exciting to see them upset a team and battle into the playoffs with a first round exit
