When the Dame trade happened, Windy was on top of the possibility of a Giannis extension. Nobody really followed up on this possibility so it took everyone by surprise. Now Windy looks pissed, but don't be mad at Giannis. I am sure HE and HIS team did their DUE DILIGENCE and took the best decision.

Windy is used to working with a self centered, conniving, challenge avoiding, jumping ship to an easier situation person like LeBron. Giannis saw some response in effort and loyalty and wanted to reciprocate. Great dynasties cannot always be created with low level, mind game playing mindsets. That's why LeBron never was involved in a dynasty, and lost to his peers more than he beat them. In any type of long term successful relationship, it takes multiple sides.

MATH: 🧐Giannis is getting $62 million each year for 3 years to total $188 million. The argument is in 4 years he could have had $233 million. BUT if Giannis will have $188million in 3 years and at the very minimum his 4th year wherever he goes he will make more than $62 million then that is $250million or more in 4 years. Which, the last time I checked $250million and more is worth more than $233 million. Thus Giannis MADE THE BEST FINANCIAL Decision. WE ALL know Giannis in his 4th year will be able to demand waaay more than $62 million and get a higher contract so, in every mathematical way he is profitting more so than if he took the 4 year deal. Thus, Windy's argument ain't mathing.🤓
