Ok but he got the elite defense to shut down the Joker

His rebounding was the biggesy concern for me

1 rebound in the 1st half and finished with only 8

  3. RapsareChamps_Suckit

someone changed his shooting controller from the square button to the R joystick

LeBron, not AD, is the heartbeat of that team. Felt like they were absolute gash with him off the floor

  5. After all that shit talk about Denver in the offseason too lol

Lakers first game playing 5 out and it’s a disaster. No one passing to AD on the roll, AD being happy to just do handoffs at the top of the key, no one getting any boards. Lakers got killed in rebounds and second chance points tonight.

I know it’s game 1, but this goes back over multiple years. He just cannot be the #1 guy on a championship team. Too inconsistent

No you see he wasn’t healthy. Someone find a medical condition he had, quick

  9. I’ve noticed if he doesn’t get momentum with the whistle and the refs allow people to be physical with him he kinda just fades away

    It’s unfortunate

Don’t worry eventually he’ll take the mantle from LeBron

Over reaction: I know it’s only one game, and it’s against the defending champs, but this doesn’t look good for the Lakers already.

AD was not aggressive at all in the second half, seems like the foul issues perhaps he had may have had an affect on him coming out in the second half but it has to be said, the Lakers guards did him no favors in setting him up and putting him in positions to succeed at all. Lakers half court offense in general was often pretty messy.

One of the top 75 greatest players of all time

How many games he gonna miss after this performance?

  15. but Reggie said he’s the #1 option about 400 times. how can this be??

Crazy that year 21 Lebron is still the best player on this Lakers team that has an in-his-prime AD on it

  17. Mal_Swansky

Well, I’ll chalk that up to playing in Denver first game of the season.

But overall, it’s inevitable that he’ll be getting sonned by Jokic. Like everyone else.

  18. deflatethesack

Lakers just invested in him as the leader of the team post lebron, and this is how he rewards them lol. Classic

  19. Disastrous-Object22

When AD is on his game it’s a level of two-way dominance rarely seen in the league. But he really does have a tendency to just disappear from games sometimes.

I think me and every non delusional lakers fan is pretty much over AD.

No more defending him. Clown away

  21. eamonious

Reddick said he was interested to see if Davis would make this a “statement game” tonight. Nope, dogwalked by Daddy Jokic once again.

  22. LeBron slowly losing his fastball and AD just isn’t the alpha dog.
