That’s a pretty fuckin good answer

Love stuff like this, you can tell Giannis is just a genuine guy who wants to do right by the organization that wanted him from the start, and it goes beyond just fame or accolades. Impossible not to like him.

Also funny: “Long answer, but let me keep it short-” then proceeds to give 2-minute answer lol

  3. PM-me-your-401k

Damn Milwaukee is so lucky to have him

  4. Glittering_Animal395

This man is incredible. So much heart. Great response!

This is the shit the talking heads never mention when talking about Giannis staying or leaving Milwaukee. His Milwaukee ties are DEEP. The former owner and Senator Herb Kohl helped get his family to the US. The bucks helped his family get his brothers into good schools. A former bucks staffer taught Giannis how to drive and Giannis would crash on his couch when he was lonely. I’m not saying the Bucks should hold these things over Giannis head, I’m saying these things really matter to Giannis and are definitely a factor in his decision making that the media never mentions. His relationship with the Bucks is different than every other stars relationship with their team

Great question and a great answer. Video provides so much more context than a twitter post. Giannis really is an earnest guy at his core.

Incredibly wholesome. How can you not like this guy (unless you’re a Sixers fan)?

    “Can’t turn my back.”

In the media game, Giannis is pretty great. Somehow, he’s always able to give a great answer in pressers and interviews.

How can you not be romantic about sports! What an answer!!

This feels really heartwarming as a burned small market fan. Gives me hope.

Somewhere bill Simmons is going analyze every second between sentences as a sign of him going to New York or Miami in 7 different podcasts. “He never said the weather! He loves Miami weather, he didn’t say anything about the theatre arts.. he loves New York”

  14. MikeyBastard1

I fucking love players that are loyal to not just their team, but also their city.

  23. HotKarls_TastySax

Milwaukee is Jerry Gergich, Giannis is Gayle, and the NBA media and Reddit just can’t accept that he loves us.

It’a a beautiful thing to see, a harmonious relationship between a superstar and his franchise.

This feels like a Nike ad, very poignant.

  29. jumboponcho

I know we don’t know these people but it’s hard for my to believe that Giannis isn’t a genuinely good person
