Lets stop acting like Cade is an elite scorer. Cade has shot poorly his whole NBA career. its ok to get guys going, but if they are missing he needs to score.
Its ok if he comes out and take the first few shots if thats what the game calls for. trying to force getting others involved is ridiculous.
People are still holding on to what they want him to be and acting as if its automatic with him. He isnt that yet. Cade needs to find his shot and dominate when its time to dominate. FInding all the open non shooters is a waste of possessions and now we are behind 2-12 with 7 minutes to go.
Yall really acting like Cade is some elite passer. He can be, but lets do whats best for the team and what the game dictates. And sometimes Cade is going to have to come out firing.

If you look at what the Celtics and Miami Heat core roster looks like, I would love to see the Pistons emulate that. I could easily see a lineup of (Killian, Ivey, Cade, Ausar, and Duren) taking the storm on both the offensive side and defensive side. Before anyone flames me about Cade, Jayson Tatum averaged the second most assists on his team (4.6) behind their point guard Marcus Smart so I don't see why Cade should have to play the PG to max his efficiency.
IF you put Cade in that Jayson Tatum role, I think you'll see him at his brightest and with Ausar and Ivey on the other parts of the wing with Killian as the "Marcus Smart" of the offense? That would be an elite team. Remember, in Pheonix their power forward was Cam Johnson a 6' 8" shooter who was a solid defender, they don't need to run Stew who is arguably a worse perimeter defender and possibly worse shooter.
I’ve been watching your show for over a year now. Love the content, but not a fan of rod beard acting like fan’s know nothing about basketball and he’s doing you a huge favor participating in the podcast. Now all of the sudden he sees the frustration of Piston fans? Both bogi and Morris are mysteriously injured for a month when they never even played 1 preseason game? What other team deals with this sort of bad luck? They represent our veteran leaders and are out for a month to start the season. Fans have long been frustrated but now and only now has it hit beard? We sat through a 17 win season and beard tried to pretend all was right with the world, and fans were overreacting. I think you can hold down this show by yourself and i know you have to toe the company line but let’s start being honest for once. Another tank year is and should be off the table, I like the way weaver drafts but we have to start winning games asap. Furthermore Cade has this year and this year only to show he can be healthy and is a legitimate #1 option. If Cade doesn’t have the requisite desire to be #1 we need to consider building around Ivey because he at least wants to be the guy. Thank you
On a side note, ivey looks horrible tonite. All over the place playing reckless.
