    Ayo had the same amount of points as Pwill on about 1/3 the amount of minutes….

    First quarter was very good, thought things were turning around

    LaVine was attacking the rim, DeMar was doing his thing, we fed Vucevic in the post, Carter and Craig were making plays, etc etc

    Then offense went stagnant, OKC got hot (and we kept helping on drives instead of focusing on the shooters) and it all fell apart

    Just one game but not a good look to start, especially from Donovan. Way too many transition threes, we aren’t even worried about the drives but we keep helping too much, we don’t attack the paint when they don’t have holmgren in and don’t feed Vuc cuz nobody wants to make an entry pass. I don’t get it.

    Back to back years getting embarrassed in the home opener.

    Vuc has 11 points being guarded by a twig. Man should have 30/15 tonight. He’s either not being utilized or can’t even take advantage of this match up. Luckily we extended the guy who doesn’t know how to use him to advantage. And even better we extended the front office giving these extensions out. Chicago sports are such a dumpster fire.

    Well, they changed their shot profile and took more 3s alright. Just not making them. Love the additions of Torrey Craig and Jevon Carter. Hope it picks up as we go along.

    We always somehow end the year with a decent defensive rating but man I’ve just never been a fan of the help and collapse heavy Billy Donovan defense. Way too many open looks generated when we play teams with star players that are elite playmakers. It annoys the shit out of me.

    Doesn’t help when we can’t hit open looks on the other side. Frustrating ass game in general.

    AK once said that our 3pt% is decent when discussing about the lack of 3-pointers. He seems to think that our 3pt% is decent so that the Bulls can increase attempts at any time which is a total joke.
