  1. Looked effortless for Kawhi & PG, a lot of standing around as decoys while their teammates put in work. No more forced to be ball handlers, no more over compensating for Morris' inability to play defense, no more having to do the dirty work with Russ and Plumlee doing it, this is how they need to play to get through an 82 game season, very conservatively, as a team. They have much more energy on defense as well, feels like theyre finallly able to get back to their roots defensively without having to do all this extra crap.

  2. "PG Play" …. me thinking about Paul George's Play (because he was awesome in game) till you mentioned "Point Guard Play" 😂
    Go CLIPPERS!

  3. No one’s talking about how PG and Anf were getting heated at eachother

  4. I think having Russ for 82 games will benefit Zubac he looked like a 20 and 10 player last night

  5. For starters, last year's team would have sweated this out. It would have come down to the wire.

  6. The bench defense needs to be better. Norm needs more touches. And Martin can’t be relegated to being a spot up corner shooter.

  7. Even though RoCo only had 5 Points, his Defensive Impact along with the Big 3 was really 2x great. I don't have any problem on him & T-Mann both of them are really deserving at Starting line up.

  8. That's the best opener we had in a while. Pace was fast, Defense was good, Passing was good… way better than what I've seen in a while for a regular season game. They didn't take Portland for granted… the effort WAS THERE.

  9. Lob city gave us used to give fans that excitement of plastic plays, beautiful and fun to watch. I haven´t been seen that until last night. ! It was FUN! Russ did all the right things, a humble hallfamer and doing his attacks to the rim with fire! Hopefully the second unit will come along too, we will need that, I mean, last years we have been having great second units. Great to see Bones too! Here´s to an exciting season coming to us! Cheers from Brasil! <3

  10. Saying that the team didn't take the season might not be the most accurate way to frame it.

No team has a blueprint on how to handle having your best coming from a major injury. The team decided on a cautious approach. Also, the team had other injuries.

Something that is being overlooked is Ty's personal life. He had several deaths in his family in which he didn't go back to be with them. That is a heavy load to carry.

Lastly, the drop off from Reggie and Morris cannot be understated.
