“Players only meeting after game 1 of the season”

wow we are in fucking shambles already

  2. AnselLovesNuts

Oh man we are totally sending Lavine for Harden’s expiring too and starting fresh next season lmao

I never thought I’d end up liking Vuc so much. Dude wants to play team ball and wants to win.

This has the be one of the most preventable blow-ups ever. All the writing has been on the wall for so long.

Also how ironic that our team building bid to lure superstars is failing to lure even Demar back?

Call me crazy, but I like Demar coming off the bench, playing iso ball, and just being the focal point of the second group offensively. It sounds pretty stupid, but could be something miraculous.

If they had an issue with the offense not being different from last year, why the hell was this not addressed in practice? I guess it could be players just doing their own thing, but I find it very hard to believe that Donovan would be running shit they weren’t running in practice.

It’s game 1. Everyone needs to relax. Billy’s going to get these guys going. And who knows. Maybe they will fuck around and win the whole damn thing.

  8. Need to first try changing coach before trading imo.

I’m not worried about locker room discussions, holding each other accountable is exactly what they *should* do. Hopefully they keep it up. Now we see if it changes anything.

AKME seem hellbent on extending Demar, so I have little faith that they’ll let him walk.

But let him sign a contract with another team as a RFA. There needs to be black and white proof this time around that the team is not overpaying him.

Can’t be as bad as the whitesox or bears start of the season

I agree the offense definitely looked stagnant for stretches but the ideology of shooting more 3s was there and we can’t deny that much, literally shot more 3s than ever. We just shot the ball really poorly, specifically Coby, Zach and Pat who are all 38-40% from 3 for their career went 4-20 last night. Even Jevon is much better statistically than the 1 of 4 he went. Imo if we keep shooting our main shooter’s percentages will eventually pick back up.

The problem to me was the defense, yeah we forced a bunch of turnovers but my goodness did we give up an endless amount of open 3s. The communication on that end seems non existent. Everybody is just over helping, leaving their man wide open for a 3 and nobody is realizing or making a rotation until the ball is in the air already.

    [All of OKCs made 3s](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&ContextMeasure=FG3M&EndPeriod=0&EndRange=28800&GameID=0022300070&PlayerID=0&RangeType=0&Season=2023-24&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&StartPeriod=0&StartRange=0&TeamID=1610612760&flag=3&sct=plot&section=game)

  12. I can’t believe we’re seriously trying to re-sign Demar too. It’s crazy. There is nothing good about this core, literally nothing.

AKME is GarPax with better PR.
