As a Spurs fan I was happy with how well my team played against the Mavs with two HOF's to carry them down the stretch. I'm sure they will only get better as the season progresses. But what surprised me was Dereck Lively II and Tim Hardaway Jr. I knew that Tim was solid, but he was a difference maker in this game. And Lively looked like Rookie of the Year material. Props to both of them.
I thought Lively would have an impact, but in a year or two. He needs to bulk up, but he is way more NBA ready than I thought.
