Possibly the worst highlight I’ve seen since MySpace

I do feel for PJ, didn’t exactly look a comfortable experience, but he definitely *is* taking another step, it’s a natural motion going into a shot, and it caught him in the head because he’s guarding someone taller than him.

Edit: Also we’re losing all meaning of the term if this is ‘foul baiting’, nor is PJ ‘calling out Giannis for foul baiting’, he’s just disagreeing with the call.

It’s honestly crazy how ridiculously in favor of the offense the refs call the NBA. That should’ve been a no call or offensive foul. In no way did Tucker foul Giannis there

How is this foul baiting lol. Giannis just ran his ass over which should’ve been an offensive foul but it wasn’t a foul bait.

“Ball don’t lie” has a lot less meaning when you’ve got a 55% FT shooter at the line.

Giannis isn’t missing out of some subconscious guilt or undetermined phenomenon, he just can’t shoot Free Throws, lmao.

This isn’t foul baiting, but it’s closer to an offensive foul than a defensive one.

Tucker does take a step, but Giannis is also the one creating all the contact. Giannis is intentionally barreling into Tucker, as he does on a lot of drives.

It should be a no-call. Another call liked this happened this game, but it got overturned after a review. The other one should have probably been an offensive foul.

I don’t think Giannis fouled in this case, but if his fouls were called correctly he’d be out the game before the half lol

  8. MrAppleSpoink

I’ve seen guys get T’d for WAYYYYYYY less than that. Wow.

  9. The_Aught

Ball don’t lie, fuck your call. Love it

  10. Littlejaguar

Not foul baiting he didn’t flop. The ref just made a terrible call.

This isn’t foul baiting. He’s arguing a bad call

  12. spaceysht

Come on PJ.. you know once he starts his spin you HAVE to let him go by defense is not allowed

  13. BeachCruisin22

No T after “fuck your call”? NBA officiating is so wildly subjective

  14. BarKochbasRevenge

I’m enjoying how obvious this hose-job was to anybody but Bucks fans.

  15. HelloS0n

‘Fuck your call.’ on tape is one of my favorite things ever lol.

3 things are certain in life: death, taxes, and the fucking ball don’t lie.

Can we get more of the raw audio on the court? This is great.

Personally I don’t think Tucker gets his feet set before contact for this to be called a charge, but its close.

  19. IT_JUST_MEANS_JORT

The answer is to stop making so many calls. Let em play.

There was a brief moment at the start of the season a few years ago when they were just letting stuff like this be a no call.

Obviously Giannis initiates the contact here, but it would be a complete reinvention of the game if they called a charge every time an offensive player moved into the body of a defender. That’s not realistic. And PJ does nothing wrong, he’s just sliding his feet, but Giannis’s stride is so much longer that they are bound to collide. He’s not at fault for continuing on his path.

Just let the game be physical and see who is capable of recovering through contact. It’s so much better than a free throw contest.

He’s not wrong. Fucking ball don’t lie
