Honestly, I love this. It’s unfortunate that he’s getting dunked on but it looks a lot like he’s loving being in the NBA and we need more players that really love the game and will put in the work. Maybe I’m reading too much into it and though it’s a negative circumstance, I think it’s a long term positive.

I don’t think you know what “getting dunked on” means
Russ is one of scoots favorite players, getting blown by and yammed on by someone you watched in the league as a kid has gotta be surreal.
Scoot had a bad game, and was clearly nervous/couldn’t find his footing. But I have no problem with him being able to smile out there, and take it in stride, it’s part of learning as a rook. And it’s WAY better than if he was moping and dragging his feet out there.
Thank goodness for the red arrow, don’t think I would of found scoot.
TIL posterized means being anywhere in the key.
Bruh, he is no where near contesting the dunk.
Brush up on your NBA lingo, please.
Pretty clear, even without this photo, that he was awe-struck. Can’t fault the guy one bit. If anything, he may not have the ice-cold killer veins of his predecessor, but I think he’s already shown a passion and professionalism that negates any worry as to his level of effort and involvement.
This isn’t remotely “getting dunked on”.
There’s a 10 year old right now who will be like that playing against Scoot as a rookie someday.
“Scoot admiring his hero’s dunk”
Fixed it for you.
Because most of you are so caught on the getting dunked on being a mistake, you’re right, here, Scoot is getting dunked adjacent.
There goes my heeeroooo, watch him as he goes
Robert Covington savagely dunked on by teammate Russell Westbrook!
