Tobias Harris has made $211 Million in his NBA Career. That is the most money made in NBA history for a player that has never made an All-Star Appearance.

I was watching the Sixers last night, and was wondering how much of that insane contract was left after Tobias Harris put up 20 points against the Bucks.

Turns out he’s made the most money in the history of the league without an all-star appearance.

It does kind of make sense due to inflation and the explosion of salaries in the late 2010s and 2020s.

A productive scorer with good length and skill, Harris is largely inconsistent and did not live up to the contract he was given. Albeit, it was a must-give for the 76ers, where he would have likely walked for free, so Philly elected to overpay to keep him.

The Sixers signed Harris to a 5-year, $180M contract in 2019, fresh off the departure of current Miami star, Jimmy Butler. Harris’ contract expires this year.

Rounding out the rest of the Top 5 are:
2. Danilo Gallinari ($198M)
3. Nicolas Batum ($187M)
4. CJ McCollum ($181M)
5. Eric Gordon ($178M)

That Gallinari one is the most egregious. Injury prone to say the least.

Tobias Harris has dropped over 25 points in a game once since April 2022

That one game was against the Rockets which went to double OT and where he played 46 minutes

Inject this directly into the veins of Raptors fans

  4. Yet my OnlyFans of me fucking a volleyball while two pineapples stare at me, aggressively, gets half that a month. r/nowork

  5. if that top-of-the-key pull up 3 is for real this season… he’s gonna get another big contract.

  6. wakerwave

Wow and galo never signed a contract worth over $67m. Harris, Batum and CJ all signed $100+ at one point

Someone will sign a rookie extension in the next few years and smash this with one deal. We won’t know until their career is over though

A starting 5 of these guys, y’all think it’s a playoff team or nah?

  9. Cantguard-mike

Feel like when i think of CJ i just assume there was some random year he got an all star nod. Idk why lol

  10. NoChanceNoProblem

Who is the player who is going to break this record?

  11. By next year it will be another guy, like Harrison Barnes or something like him

  12. nononononofin

If CJ played in the east his entire career I think he would have at least one AS appearance. The rest are pretty brutal contracts.

“Tobias Harris over me?”- they didn’t have to pay him

  14. yandisigenu

Bet his next contract nets him decent money. He just fits the archetype of what the league is obsessed with right now: Length/size, above average off-ball play, decent outside shooting, average defence. He’s definitely getting paid again.

I met him and Embiid in 2019.

Embiid seemed like a guy who was an athletic freak but sort of lazy and not really focused. Tobias was even worse, he had a vibe like he was just happy to be there.

During his stint in Orlando, he would frequent the gamestop where my roommate worked. Guy played more video games than basketball.

  17. He also got that Goldfish money doing commercials with Boban

  18. background_action92

Blud needs to donate 70% of that to charity or something

  19. Alternative_Shake949

Ok, question. He has made 211 million, as in his contracts so far have been worth 211 mils. But how much of that money actually ended up in his pockets? Is it before or after taxes? And how much is the taxation like for athletes in the US? Is it the same for the whole country or is different depent in what state there are? Sorry for the questions…non American.

He’s honestly the reason I stopped watching basketball 😂😂

I’m a homer so I root for the 76ers but man, after Jimmy B leaving us and becoming a legend, and Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons making generational wealth while proving absolutely nothing on the court really killed my nba vibe

I play some 2k myleague and I wouldn’t pay Tobias Harris that much in a video game, but this happened irl

How can modern gms be so bad?

What does this list look like in 5 years?

    Ayton, Kuzma, RJ Barrett…

  22. ThedirtyNose

I don’t really care about all star nominations. Has he ever made all nba teams? How deep has he helped take a team into the playoffs?

  23. shrimpinman

Bro has never made an all star, all nba nor all defense. Give him another max sixers!

  24. Technician-Temporary

His dad is his agent which makes it even better

  25. Context that makes it even crazier: Draymond Green by the *end of this season* will have made a total of $177.9 mil in his career.

  26. UpcycledSkateArt

Ayton will have made 173mil when his current contract is up in 26
