Giannis will likely never win another MVP as long as he's playing next to Dame. Lillard will usually be the definitive closer like he was tonight. As great as Giannis is, he can't shoot outside the paint or at the line and doesn't have a serious post game. Lillard can make virtually any shot, gets to the rim, draws fouls and makes virtually all of his free throws. Skills you need to close when it matters most. Ironically and by comparison, Dame will expose Freak's weaknesses in half court battles and in crunch time.
Giannis is letting dame take over is growth to me.

remember, Giannis picked Dame in his last All Star Game because he needed someone with will burst score especially late in the 4th.
no matter how great Giannis is, he need someone to have the ball who is great in FT during close game, like Shaq did.

Ref's helped the Bucks with that win against the Sixers.. Especially with that non-call travel by Giannis when he passed the ball to himself at the basket.. the NBA videos are still showing it . Hilarious! That is why Dame L. Had an open 3-pt shoot because it was an obvious bad call and even all the players hesitated and stop playing when it happened. Maxey killed Dame on his non-defense. MAacey had 7-8 pts in a 2 min. Span at one point.. Buck need to tighten up perimeter-D with Dame out there.
Bucks would have been good had G took a little less money to keep Malcom years ago.
